TV Sharp vs LG (1 Viewer)

I know there used to be at least 1 decent TV thread around here but the search function doesn't seem to work...at all.

These are both the same price, the Sharp is a smart TV which I have no use for at all. No gaming either, just cable TV..alot of sports watching- football, golf, baseball.

My Samsung plasma crapped the bed after about 10 yrs, never owned LED

Any input/experiences with either brand would be great.

both are good.   i'd probably go with LG personally but either one is going to be just fine.   compare the specs
