The UC Men's Octet is an eight member a cappella singing group comprised of some of the finest male singers at the University of California, Berkeley. Founded in 1948, the Octet has entertained audiences around the world with its unique mesh of close harmonies and zany stage antics.
I was bouncing around YouTube out of boredom, and I stumbled upon these guys. I checked out performances by the last dozen or so classes, and the 2003 bunch clearly is the best. Here are two examples. This is pretty amazing.

I honestly didn't realize a capella groups were such Serious Business. They are everywhere.These guys must put in some serious hours.

When I was in HS choir (I know, :nerd: ) certain vocal groups and choirs were revered, kind of like sports stars. It's the same with comic book nerds, sports nerds, tech nerds etc.Kings Singers are very good, and have been around for a long time, with new members auditioning and replacing older members.

 
Kinda wish my alma mater had better football players than singers...

They are pretty damn good though. Saw them on campus a few times.
