Actually, that's a mistype. Only passing TDs are worth 4 points. All other TDs are worth 6. And the 2-point conversions are listed for sake of brevity.The scoring here is correct.

why wouldnt 2 pointers count?

Because they weren't addressed in Dodd's scoring rules. It also speciifically stated all TD's worth 4 pts (although Clayton has addressed that) where it was broken out in by type in the info for the other leagues. I just think it's important that everyone is working off the same sheet of music.
