This is not yet confirmed, so don’t get all pissy with us.
While I fully agree that the Pats many times are misleading with their use of the injury report, they were "better" last year in that they did follow the "limited in practice" tiers of the injury report. As for Brady missing the first few weeks of the season, I will check to see what I can find out, but as of now this would be news to me (and probably many others as well).I could have told you a month ago that Brady will be a game time decision. Belichek always plays games with his injuries, and you can bet Brady will be on many injury reports as 'questionable'. I fully expect Brady to be playing though.

:( IBTLTom Brady, QB NE
News: Tom Brady was back at practice with the Patriots on Sunday, reports the team's official website. Brady took part in passing drills with the other quarterbacks and showed no signs of being hindered by his recent foot injury.
Analysis: Fantasy owners can breathe a sigh of relief knowing the No. 1 QB and first-round pick in all leagues will be on the field for Week 1.
You would cut Brady if he was out 2-4 weeks?Couch Potato said:If it was on an Internet website then it must be true. I'm cutting that gimp for Orton right away!
nah, if he missed the first 16 games, no way would the pats be in the playoffs. therefore, 16 is the max.fixedi think he'll miss between 0 and 20 weeks
