Upgrade Packers Running attack (1 Viewer)

Now that Bulldozer and one of the best Run blocking FBs in the game expects to start. William Henderson returned to practice today and expects to start on Sunday.

Well all I know is that anyone who watches the Packers on a regular basis knows the impact Hendo has on this running game.

Take it for what its worth. Upgrade/downgrade accordingly. Henderson is back at Fullback.

Henderson coming back can only improve the Packers running attack, and they're going to need him to make a big impact, given that their offensive line looks to be pretty horrible yet again.

Even if you do like GB's potential running game, I'd lay off them in Week 1 - going vs. the Bears defense usually isn't very good for the opposing offense.

You gotta go back almost 2 years I know.........but Green has always put up good numbers against the Bears.

Anyhow - I am not trying to sway anyone one way or the other. I agree with you and can think of quite a few better matchups than Ahman Green vs the Bears this week.

Green has always been a good receiving back, so it's possible he could make up for subpar rushing numbers with a few receptions/yardage.What is the health of Green ? Are they saying he's 100% ready to roll or is there time for his backups to take a few carries from him ?

No one really knows about Greens health. The starters only played 2 plays last game. The people paid to evaluate players for a pro football team, ie: no one on this board, seem pretty content with what they have in Green Bay. They seem to think he's going to be OK but I would expext more of a rbbc type thing between Green & Gado.

Ahman Green = Comeback Player of the Year....

At least I hope so..... My teams name is the 2004 NFL All Stars and I need either Corey Dillon, Brian Westbrook, Duante Culpepper, Ahman Green, Jamal Lewis or Michael Clayton to perform like they did in 04.

I would love to see the Packs running attack come back to life. Both as a Pack fan and becuase I need to solidify a back up to Foster this year. . . .but until they get something goin on that O line, so that they play as a team, or get that def playing like the "names" they are supposed to play like, it might be tough.

Heres to the start of the season though!

A quick small point:

Just because you are in one of the following situations:

A) Drafted A.Green/Brett Favre/Donald Driver/GB Defense (yes, rumor has it they have one) higher than you should have

B) A Packer fan (and therefore probably did "A" above)

C) Someone who bets money on the Packers

D) Someone who denies that the passage of time affects aging RB legs, QB arms, etc.

...does not automatically make the Packers better. TIA.

Carry on.

no, but it would make people want to read/post information, thoughts, or hopes concerning the previous information.
