One thread, two questions . . .
Which post-merger NFL teams had the best and worst combined rankings comprised of the following: 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE.
If that was unclear, let's use last year's Patriots as an example:
Brady 1
Maroney 25
Moss 1
Welker 11
Watson 13
Team Total: 51
(No, they are not one of the teams.)
A few teams in that time did not use a TE, so they could use another WR instead. But no team without a TE is on the list, so we don't need to worry about it)
So we are looking for the best of the best of the best . . . and the worst of the worst of the worst.
You need to list the team and the year.
(Of course, I am assuming the info that Doug ran me is accurate.)
I suspect the best teams will be easier to breakdown than the worst teams, but here goes . . .
