Value Plays (1 Viewer)

I thought I would share with you guys some of the players from a 12 man draft tonight. This is a keeper league. You can keep one player at no cost and another at tier previous draft selection - 3 rounds. So the second round is about equivalent to roud one. I am going to post who I thought offered great value. If you have questions about any particular players, I would be happy to answer. I am listing thier draft postitions as if the keepers were round 1. Scoring is 0 pts. for RB-.5 for WR-1 pt for TE.

TO-3.05-I know there is turmoil here but TO has way too much talent to be a 3rd rounder.

Deon Branch 9.05-He has to play this year doesn't he? I think worth a 9th rounder.

Aaron Brooks- 12.05- I absolutely hate the Raiders but this guy has got to be a top 15 QBand was the 15th QB off the board.

Eddie Kennison 8.05- again he always gets drafted late and shows up in the top 25

Michael Clayton- 11.03- Personally, I miss marked him in the draft dominator and thought he went in the 6th but Mark Clayton was taken there and Michael slipped until the 11th. No one else complained about the mix up but I would have taken him earlier if I would have know. Probably a fluke.

Chris Chambers 4.10- I didn't have a 3rd rounder due to keeping LJ for a 3rd but Chamber taken much later than his ADP.

If anyone has questions about who went where I would be happy to answer. I hope this helps someone.

Ok, since I got such a great response, I am going to bed. If anyone is interested in anything I will check back tomorrow morning.

Here are some of my value picks in a 12 team league:

Steve Smith at 2.2 - Most drafts have him going in the late first round

Chris Chambers at 4.2 - It was either him or Reggie Wayne. I like my pick.

Jamal Lewis at 5.11 - he's a high risk, high reward this year, but at 5.11 there's not much risk.

Todd Heap at 6.2 - He could end up being the #1 TE this year with Gates having Rivers as an umproven QB, and with McNair a huge upgrade for Heap at QB over Boller.

Mike Vick at 8.2 - I didn't plan on taking him, but he was such good value at 8.2, I had to take him here.

The one mistake I think I made was taking Reggie Brown at 7.11 and passing up on Matt Jones who went at 7.12. Only time will tell on this one...

sometimes i scratch my head when i see how ridiculously far these guys fall.

i don't play in any leagues where someone in the first 10 rounds falls lower than 1 round past ADP. one exception: Dom. Davis fell to the 6th round of a draft when his ADP was 2nd/3rd round -- turns out we were all correct to pass him up.
