VandenBosch has gotten good pressure throughout the game. What concerned me the most is that he hasn't been in the game for a number of 3rd and long, obvious passing situations. The play where Jason Jones got a sack, VandenBosch had 2 separate shots at Big Ben, but he whiffed.
Titans are rotating bodies, as they often do, and VDB is playing only two of three series and has rotated out on long drives, too. That's likely to continue as long as Jacob Ford plays as well as he has and Jevon Kearse holds up on the other end on every other series. The Steelers have been regularly chipping VDB, too. Still, he's been getting a decent push and holding the edge reasonably well. Narrowly missed one sack in the first half as MF noted. Plenty of opportunity for the Tennessee line against Roethlisberger. Four sacks and a number of additional hits.
he was facing Starks all night who is going to limit most ends, also the steelers almost never ran outside the left so he had no oppertunity to get tackles unless he pushed to the right. It is to early to determine anything at this point.

They also doubled him a decent amout of time, which frankly was to be expected with Haynesworth gone. But given how well the rest of the D-line played, at some point other teams won't be able to double him as much.
I watched KVB every play he was in there and he got owned by Starks and most plays it was one on one. Starks is a giant of a man and he dwarfed KVB, one play I remember distinctly Starks pushed him so far back he was almost illegally down field. I had KVB going and was hoping for a sack or an assist or something, chalk this one up to facing a better opponent.
