Vereen vs. Taiwan (1 Viewer)

I just dropped Vereen for Taiwan Jones on the news of him taking the RB2 spot in Oakland. Did I make the right move or should I go back and get Vereen?

0.5 PPR League... OP is any offensive player... pretty standard scoring other than the 0.5 PPR (4 pt TD throw)

thanks bro. You guys are so helpful. I love new forums. I will post something like this in the AC forum next time... although, it was really a player question... not a sit/start question. As a noob, I was unsure if a player comparison question belonged here or there. I will take the "yes" as... YES i made the right choice. The defense question is still unanswered.

You have made a monumental mistake....go back and get Vareen on your team. He is a NEP and will be a tough slugger the whole year through...Tiawan Jones is a has been, never been, never gonna be toolito.

Also, the rest of your roster SUCKS, so you will need to up grade. Your team reads like a 'whos who' list of busts....Vincent Jackson? Jamaal Knarledknee? The Dog Rapist? Why would you pick a man who rapes dogs? Percy Headache? Stephen Crackson? Kyle HypedMc Hyper?

The whole team stinks. Especially in a fantasy football league. Vereen is the least of your worries, but go get that boy!!!!!!

had you asked "Did I just make the 'shark move'?" the nit pickers wouldn't have bothered to pick on you.

Anyways, For the defense, I think it depends highly on your scoring system. If your league is heavy on awarding sack points and especially sack yardage, I think the Giants are the way to go.

Re: Taiwan and Vereen, I think you made the right move. The productive role of the Pats back, on a consistent basis, is Ridley's. Vereen is going at the rate of being a better version of Woodhead, which produces sometimes but nothing you can ever rely on for a month at a time or anything.

Taiwan Jones is as close as we have right now to Jamaal Charles. The speed is rediculous, the physical attributes are similar. that is a general statemment, but I'm trying to be short to get to the point. DMAC has his history. If he goes down, there is definitely a role for Jones. Vereen, on the other hand, couldn't be guaranteed the same.
