Drew the 5th spot this year in my favorite in person long time league.

12 teams
QB/RB/WR/TE/Flex/Flex/Flex/K/D
5 bench.

Shorter bench. QB and TE elevated in Draft Dominator but that’s because shallow lineups not because scoring.

Early leaning assuming CMC/Lamb off the board.

Chase
Bijan
Tyreek

In that order.

Yeah...Dominator is broken. QB should fall even further with only 5 bench spots.

They do in the mock I do but the initial rankings they are very high but in our league Allen will go in R1.

Very league dependent for sure. In my redraft league, Alan and Mahomes will probably come off the board in the second or third round. People used to take quarterbacks in the first, but they’ve gotten better over the years.

Personally, I’m waiting until the eighth or ninth round then doubling up on Daniels/Tua, or Jordan love/Stafford combo

Breece, Bijan, Jefferson for me. Short benches mean lots of WR will emerge. Might even take Gibbs over JJ in this format.
Exactly. I will hate not having a stud WR but even if you start Breece or Bijan and then someone like Kupp.

Curious where Kelce goes. DD has him 9. ADP 17. With a couple QBs going there might be a 30-40% chance Kelce is there in the 2nd.

If that's the case, I taking one of Chase/JJ/Hill and grabbing Barkely/Gibbs/ETN/Henry of the way back.

You only have to start one RB so there is no scarcity. Per FBG projections, you're giving up 30-40 points taking a RB over WR here. The second round RBs are only giving up 10-20 points to the WRs.

I strongly suspect the Hollywood Brown injury is going to bump Kelce’s ADP up towards, or even into the first round.
Maybe, but right now I'm seeing the 2/3 turn. I think a whole lot of guys love Kincaid and are getting Kittle thoughts (Aiyuk issue) and Pitts is re-born. Also a lot of flag plant guys are coming up in this traditional Kelce area...Williams, Henry, Barkley, Harrison, London, etc

Imagine getting Travis Kelce as the fourth or fifth tight end off the board in the mid third. I might have to change my sheets after a dream like that.

Good point. Agree there. I want to say Kelce ended up early to mid second last year hopefully he falls a bit more with my league mates. 25+ year league same people but I’d say half are casual players at best so it’s always a few head scratcher picks per round.

ETN/Henry will be there for sure. Henry ranking 29th in Draft Dominator. 24th ADP.

Us being a local Buffalo league Kincaid could go late 2nd to early third easily depends on when half the league generally has a QB by R5-6

The smart move may be to go WR/WR and then see which Rb falls to the 3rd. If you use Bob Henry projections only Henry will move up. Pacheco is projected about the same and can easily be had in the 3rd.

Overall I find RBs easier to replace in short bench leagues. All it takes is one injury and often you have a startable replacement on the wire. The WRs have been much thinner IMO.

Really don't think that matters in this league. With the 1/1/1 starting lineup and 2 flex plus short benches leaving talent on the wire I don't think there's any positional scarcity. You can chunk those RBs and WRs into the same pool and just draft the guy who you think will score the most until the 2 flexes are filled.

That’s generally how I normally end up. It’s 3 flex. So I always end up with 1RB and 4WR starting.

Jefferson vs Chase is the decision likely looming unless Tyreek falls but for some reason I like Chase this year. We do get a bonus for 40 yard TDs. Worry about Jefferson QB play and Tyreek always seems to be hobbled throughout games and is getting older.

I could see a break out for Chase. I have him above JJ. Prefer Hill because they are close and he's fun to watch.

Got this spot in my 25-year home league.
1 will be CMac.
Anticipating 2/3 will be Lamb/Tyreek (I know the guy at 3 will take Tyreek).
So depends on what 4 takes, but looks like I will have the choice to draft JJ/ARSB/Chase
which seems lovely to me.
We only NEED to start one RB (although we can start 3), so doesn't seem any need for me to reach for Hall or Bijan.

I had 5 spot last night. Fairly standard scoring (.5 point ppr, no tep, 6 pt tds) "work league" type thing. It got...weird.

Homers overdrafted a couple players the first two rounds so I wound up with Hall at 1.05 and Barkley at 2.16. Great, right? Rest of the way, the "homers just kept homering". I kept hoovering value (to me, at least)...but got way too cute and got clobbered at TE. 🫠

I refused to overdraft "stiffs" like Schultz, Musgrave, or Friermuth, so wound up with a fleet of RBs (Walker found his way onto the twam as well), a decent enough WR room(only have to start 2) anchored by London and DJ Moore, Prescott at QB...and Taysom Hill/Hockenson with two of my last three picks at TE. I stream D/ST, so grabbed Atl with final pick for Wk1. Didnt even bother drafting a PK. 😅
