Official 7th Pick PPR (Redraft) thread (1 Viewer)

Have the 7th pick in my longstanding hometown league.

12 team PPR. Start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE

Top 8 are pretty much agreed upon:
CMC
Lamb
Hill
Breece
Bijan
ASB
Chase
JJ

Most experts and rankings suggest you take a WR in round 1 and there is almost always one available at the 7th spot.
However, during mocks, I am not a fan of what RB's comes back in round 2.

If Breece and Bijan are gone, I obviously take one of the WR's and go best available.

My question is, if you're at 7 and your choices are one of Hall / Bijan and ASM / JJ/ Chase, who are you taking?

I have the 7th as well and if Hall or Bijan are there I'm drafting them. There are some great value WRs throughout this season's draft but RB's drop off a cliff real quick.

After that, I'd go ARSB/Chase/JJ in that order, but you may prefer them in a different order.

Picked Breece over JJ at this spot in a underdog BB25, and followed it up with Henry. So far:

1.7 Breece Hall (ARSB and Bijan went before)
2.6 Henry (over Etn, Nico, Olave, Adams, Samuel)
3.7 DJ Moore (Pittman,Pickens, LaPorta, DK)
4.6 Jalen Hurts (over Mahomes, LJax, Higgins and Josh Jacobs.)
5.7 Rashee Rice
6.6 Chris Godwin (considered Kittle)

EDIT sorry realize this is half PPR not full but ETN might be worth 2.6 if you go JJ 1.7?

Hopefully only 3 RBs will be off the board.....

Home league, 20 years, I know at least half or more of the first 2 rounds will be RBs despite it being PPR

Will likely be easier to go hero and then load up than taking a mid-round WR1 and getting the RB 10-12 on the return

But as always, open to letting the flow dictate where I go the first 4-5 rounds

good question - Gibbs is intriguing, I think the soft tissue thing will be fine

either him or Saqoun probably, and JT is in consideration

I have mocked a lot from 7 and i like the teams where I start RB much better than if I go ASB.
I too am from Detroit and want ASB, but I feel taking Taylor (or whichever RB you like) at 7 and then WR/WR ends up better.

That is a dream start imo.

Remote chance Hall falls to me there in my draft and I’m not comfortable with the build if I have to take Taylor/Saquan/Gibbs. Would way rather have a JJ/ASBR and Pacheco build than Taylor et Al and Olave/London build.

My best draft of the year so far is from the 7-spot.

Was very fortunate after selecting JJ at 7 that Gibbs somehow made it back to me at 2.06

I tend to do well in the middle of the round thought - so many picks between picks I get super focused on finding value.

It doesn’t always fall to you though. Gotta be ready to change plans. Sometimes more than once.

But take that to the 3rd round and see if you change your mind. If I start RB in round 1, I'm landing two really good WR's. If you start WR, you feel almost compelled to go RB/RB in rounds 2 and 3.

2. 18 Etienne/Pacheco/Josh Jacobs, RB all 3 are decent selections and none of them will be on the board at 31, if Henry makes it past his ADP of 15, also in the mix here, likely my fav
3. 31 Deebo/Mike Evans/CooperKupp, WR again there's 3 decent names here and it comes down to personal preferences, I like Kupp...Chase-Henry-Kupp is sexie
4. 42 Jaylen Waddle, WR This will make for a pretty sharp 1-2-3 up top at WR.
5. 55 George Kittle, TE drop off after, i would just wait until it was time to grab Ferguson if you miss here.
6. 66 Rashee Rice, WR Fill up the Flex spots, too much value in PPR to pass on him. Terry McLaurin will go around here
7. 79 Raheem Mostert/Tony Pollard, RB2 needs to be filled. This is where Ferguson at TE would go.
8. 90 Zach Moss RB
9. 103 Jared Goff/Tua Tags, QB
10. 114 Tua Tags/Jared Goff, QB either way you go B2B at QB, you can insert other names
11. 127 Rico Dowdle, RB

I think so. I'm fairly risk averse in general so my concern with London is "What may be is not always what will be". Questions for me about Adams' and Olave's situation. MHJ was gone before the ETN pick but he's another "what may be" scenario in my mind.
