Am I crazy to think the V. Davis will challenge Gates for top TE honors this year? I could see Smith relying him quite a bit and it isn't like the Niners have a ton of top notch receiving talent.

Yes, you are crazy. I think VD could....COULD be top 5. But let's face it, he's and unproven workout warrior.

If you compare Davis to Watson, Watson is the workout warrior. Davis had much better college stats to back up his selection. Mr. Click-Clack WILL be a top 3 TE this year. (Barring injury)
