I was at that game! I heard the guy that had the ball on 1100 (Cleveland sports station) after the game, he was laughing his ### off!

we were yelling at him a fewweeks ago, he kept waving and then tossed a ball up. seems like he enjoys it.

We used to heckle the crap out of Buhner in Cleveland when we sat front row in RF (a few playoff games too). Good times. We never embraced him though.

While our POS city doesn't have a MLB team we do have a REALLY nice stadium for a AAA club (Cardinals Affiliate). Cheap beer and usually can get down very close to the field.

All too often when I go with buddies we'll grab seats right by the opposing On Deck circle and pick some poor ******* on the opposing team and just bust his balls all game long. Usually he'll go 1 for 5 or 0 for 4 or something. Those guys aren't used to heckling. 100% of the time we'll get some sort of reaction out of the guy.. usually a glare of death as he walks back to the dugout after striking out for the 3rd time that day.

If there is a former big league guy who's been demoted on the other team he automatically gets to be the target of our banter. Those guys apparently do not like to be reminded of their fall from grace while trying to hit. :stirspot:

"My favourite riposte to a heckle is to say, 'Excuse me, I'm trying to work here. How would you like it if I stood yelling down the alley while you're giving blow jobs to transsexuals?"

You think he would have let you embrace him? You calling him gay?

Is that lawyer still around at TB games? The one right behind the plate? That guy was awesome.
he has a book! :lmao: http://www.thehappyheckler.com/
:bag: Have you heard/seen him at the games this year? I would tune in just to watch/listen. He's so loud on those telecasts, I bet they moved him or threatened to do so.

I can't forget that Adam Kennedy game. Funniest heckler I've ever witnessed.

"Heckling is a bad thing?" :lmao:
