Vick Broken Right Hand (1 Viewer)

Im no doctor..

.but it sounds to me that if Vick can take a snap and cradle the ball in his right hand with confidence when he runs; then he starts.
The reporter Eskin officially changed his mind on NFL Network just now (120pm). 1 game at most, maybe none.

Take a deep breath FLY IGGLES and stop sensationalizing. It's one thing to jump on Michael Vick's "woe is me" train but to take it a step further and insinuate the Giants played dirty is weak. Vick wasn't even the victim of the worst non-call of the game. That happened in the second half when a Philly D-Lineman (I think it was Babin but could be mistaken) blatantly facemasked Eli on a third and long and no flag was thrown. Do I think that Brady or Peyton would've gotten the laundry on the play that Vick got injured on? Yeah, they likely would've. Do I think the play itself warranted a flag ... I'd say it was borderline to the point whatever team was on the wrong end of it would've been pissed at how it was called. Regardless, it wasn't dirty. Canty is very tall and was able to get low enough to avoid going helmet to helmet. Given the way the NFL has been calling that penalty at every opportunity I'd say Canty made a strong effort to keep the hit legal.

Of course the Giants game plan would've been to hit Vick. What team wouldn't have this as part of their defensive plan? Are you, or Vick for that matter, really shocked that he's going to be the focus point for opposing defenses? There's not a QB in the league that isn't adversely effected by pressure or getting hit. Seems like this comes with the territory for franchise QB's. But whining that you don't get the calls other guys get is embarrassing. Perhaps the D should count 5 Mississippi's before blitzing.

His hand is bruised not broken, just saw it on ESPN. Let's see if he gets flamed like Cutler did. I'm gonna guess no.
The x-ray they took yesterday during the game indicated it was broken. Reid said that based on the CT scan which creates a picture from different angles, that what appeared to be a fracture was actually a blood vessel.

And there is no comparison to the situatons.Hopefully the last two posts are not a prelude to the ignorance that usually dominates every Vick thread.
