Vick is a poor sport! (1 Viewer)

IMHO I wouldn't either. I don't get how you as a player can shake hands with the team that just beat you in the playoffs, acting as if you didn't even just play the game. I know it always bothered me when I was younger and lost. Still does
Because they don't care all that much about winning or losing. The money still shows up in the bank account. They'd like to win, but this is a job. The guys who beat them are co-workers. The fans hold grudges; the players smile and schedule tee times.
You people have no idea about the concept of sportsmanship.
I understand the concept of money in sports. You care about the final score more than they do.
No, apparently you don't.

his post game conference he did congrat the Pack. I am sure he was disappointed with the result and took him a few minutes to gather himself.....

He also came up to shake Rodger's hand during Rodger's interview after the game. Perhaps he needed a few minutes to collect himself after the loss. who could blame him?IMO the OP's opinion is really quite a stretch.
You take a couple of minutes to compose yourself before you go into the post-game press conference. It doesn't take "collecting yourself" to go out and say "good game".I tend to think that being a good sport about such a modest gesture doesn't take a whole lot, so it bugs me if he was so upset that he couldn't muster even the most minimal amount of class and good sportsmanship. But I don't know why he didn't come on out right away. So until then, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Who cares what Vick does after his team loses? If you have enough time to worry about what some pro athlete does after a game, you really need to get a life. If you have that much free time, there are hundreds of organizations that would love to have your help. Volunteer at a hospital, homeless shelter, the Good Will, or a food bank. Get off the couch and do something to help society rather than compain about nonsense.
And if you have enough time to care about what some nameless person on a message board posts about someone who will never know what they posted and wouldn't care if they did...Sauce being good for both the goose and the gander. :lmao:

Thanks for helping me prove my point. Vick will never know what some guy on a message board thinks. On the other hand, maybe the poster will get my message and worry about more important things in life.
