Vikings agreed to terms with QB Patrick Ramsey (1 Viewer)

Interim head coach Leslie Frazier mentioned on Tuesday that the team may have to start a veteran like Ramsey who they signed off the street. Tarvaris Jackson “doesn’t look good for this week,” according to Frazier.

They'll probably have to mix Webb in there some. I look forward to that.
Joe Webb-QB-Vikings Dec. 15 - 7:30 pm et According to Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, it "sounds like" rookie Joe Webb will be the Vikings' starting quarterback on Monday Night Football against the Bears.

And he's going to make for an interesting flex play in fantasy leagues. A number of scoring formats list Webb as a "QB, WR" because he was originally drafted to play wideout. Webb therefore has receiver eligibility, and isn't a bad bet for 30-plus rushing yards, about 130 passing, and perhaps a touchdown despite a highly unfavorable matchup and conditions at TCF Bank Stadium. It's bad news, of course, for Vikings pass catchers.

agh I was feeling good about grabbing Rice before he came back as a playoff booster. Now with my playoff game coming up it looks like he is a non start. Others agree? this sucks..

Dam, espin has webb listed as a qb only. That would have been a huge advantage to use him as a wideout.

Chilly has to be smiling just a little to be out of that mess and collecting a nice paycheck for the next three season.
