I put a bit of blame in Williams there. He fought hard for that extra yard instead of giving up. It cost them 3 or 4 seconds. Not sure if that's enough time to run a jump ball play, but it might have been the difference.

Oh...and Yahoo Sports actually recording Smith's stats would be good, too: they still have him listed as NA, and they haven't posted any stats for him yet. :hot: I have Burleson, Stokley, Smith, and Edge...he has Harrison. Not calling time out enought was pathetic! Whichever guy was holding his hands together IMMEDIATELY after the whistle blew, looking at the sidelines to see if he should call the timeout. Tice is going "No, No, No, NO...oh wait...YES...after wasting 6 Fing seconds. Disgusting.Also sickening to watch was the Vikings in the hurry-up offense letting 20+ seconds run off after completion of the previous play. It's like they've never practiced the hurry-up before. I guess the hurry up is usually.."Go Deep Randy, and I'll chuck it up in your general vicinity. You go up, catch it, and make me look like an NFL quarterback. :yucky:

I don't know if it was all that smart or not, but I"m glad they did, I'm I'm 1 pt behind and the guy that has Mort.
