All the reasons mentioned in this post are why I'm optimistic about the VJax's return. The biggest of course being that Rivers is in a pass happy offense, has been lights out this season, and just ask Jacob Tamme what a stellar QB in any pass happy offense can do for your stats!!I've had him rostered in a couple of leagues for awhile now. Initially I wasn't expecting too much from him when he comes back, but I've changed my expectations. Mainly because: he is practicing with the team. He seems to be getting along with management. The Chargers are right in the thick of the playoff hunt. Rivers has been playing lights out. The other WR options on the the team are now banged up.I see no reason not to expect top production from him the minute he steps back on the field. I would guess he'll easily produce in the top 7-10 WRs going forward upon his return. Is there any reason to expect otherwise?
Gopher's beat UofI, What happened? They're gonna ruin their reputation if they start winning. Maybe by the time they get Iowa, Iowa won't be ranked anymore...lolI heard he's be hanging out at Bubba's bar after working out
what is it with people on these boards wishing for injuries on players? Someone on here is prolly related to a player, how would you like it if someone wished an injury on a family member? He'll pull a hammy in week 13 and be done for the season.
For the same reason you'd start Wayne and Clark/Tamme, I don't see why not.I know this might be more of an AC question but whateverWith Rivers slinging Marino style, would anyone start Vjax and Gates in a TE 1.5ppr and WR 1 ppr league

I believe CrossEyed was making a prediction of what VJ will do to protect himself, basically that he would fake an impossible-to-disprove injury so he could accrue a season while not risking his body or his big contract next season. On the other hand VJ does have an incentive to go out and prove he is still an elite player and not a trouble maker.I'm inclined to think he'll go out there and play his best, but it certainly wouldn't shock me if he was felled by a phantom injurywhat is it with people on these boards wishing for injuries on players? He'll pull a hammy in week 13 and be done for the season.
