All the pertinent inactives will be posted in the thread. Here's a quick look at some of the situations we'll be watching today.
Injuries
Thomas Davis practiced fully on Thursday and Friday and sounds safe to use this week.
Antrel Rolle has a foot injury and was limited on Friday. He’s questionable to play.
Brian Scott is listed questionable, but fully practiced Friday after limited practice earlier in the week. With Donte Whitner out, Scott might get back into the SS role this week.
Nick Harper and Cortland Finnegan were limited most of the week. Harper is a week away from returning but Finnegan looks likely to play.
Channing Crowder is out with a shoulder injury this week. Reggie Torbor and Akin Ayodele will play inside. Ayodele is an interesting desperation play.
Bart Scott is questionable after being limited all week with a knee injury.
Michael Boley is out but began practicing this week and may return soon.
Sean Jones will get even more playing time this week with Macho Harris unlikely to play with an ankle injury that kept him out of practice all week.
Greg Ellis didn’t practice all week with a knee injury.
John Abraham has been limited this week with a foot injury and should probably be considered a game-time decision. Jonathan Babineaux is limited as well.
Sedrick Ellis is out with a knee injury that sounds like a 3-4 week MCL sprain.
News and notes
Kaluka Maiava barely played in the second half last week. David Bowens was limited with a foot injury this week, but may still rotate in at ILB (and OLB) this week.
Nick Roach and Hunter Hillenmeyer flopped roles again this week, with Hillenmeyer moving back inside. Odds are that Roach will sit in the nickel as he did earlier in the season.
LeRoy Hill is back this week, but won’t play every down. David Hawthorne will play every-down MLB. Patrick Kerney will also be back in the lineup. Marcus Trufant has been activated and will play, though he may rotate in only on nickel packages.
