Waive Eli for Trubisky? (1 Viewer)

I start one quarterback and I have Philip Rivers and Eli Manning. After all of the injuries to the Giants receivers yesterday I can't imagine Eli Manning having any value for the rest of the season. Should I go ahead and get him off of my team and try to add Trubisky before tonight's Monday Night Football game?  Basically will trubisky be more valuable than Eli Manning for the rest of the season?

If the giants sign 4 guys off the street on Tuesday, their WR group will be about equal to the bears talent-wise. you're likely going to be stuck rolling with rivers most weeks going forward... i wouldn't be opposed to dropping eli for mitchell... i mean who knows what trubisky is going to be...he may end up with 20-30 rushing yards a week...  but be aware the bears WR group is atrocious so expecting watson numbers is just not realistic

I have no problems dropping Eli but I don't know if Trubisky is any better.....and will just as likely be worse.

I agree the Bears WRs are garbage.  Think I'll just hold on to Eli.  I only mentioned Trubisky because he is the only QB that could get added today.  Everyone else is locked.  Nobody good is available though, just guys like Kizer, Cutler, Flacco, McCown.

There's zero harm in dropping Eli for Trubisky.  You're going to be starting Rivers every week anyway.  At this point we know what Eli is, and now he's even worse since his entire WR corps got hurt.  Trubisky is a lotto ticket, that's free to purchase.

One thing no one looked at is the bye weeks. Trubisky and Kizer have the same bye week as Rivers so they are best left alone. If you end up dropping Eli you'll have to look at McCown, Flacco or Cutler for help. Garbage in-garbage out.
