Waiver Adds - Week 7 (after week 6) (1 Viewer)

Roto update that I really wish had waited to publish tomorrow after waivers.

The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue expects Rams fifth-round rookie RB Kyren Williams (ankle, I.R.) to have a "big role" once he returns.

The Rams have yet to open Williams' 21-day practice window after he underwent ankle surgery before the season. But over the summer, it appeared Williams was ticketed for a bigger-than-expected role on offense, possibly even moving ahead of Cam Akers on the depth chart, but then he got hurt. With Akers now done in Los Angeles either via trade or some other form of transaction, there's a spot for Williams alongside Darrell Henderson. Williams is worth a stash on fantasy benches or injured reserve lists.
What kind of realistic turn around are we thinking here for Kyren Williams? As soon as Week 8? Or will it be a month from now?

Those of us with tiny benches and no IR would love to know. Thinking about stashing him over handcuffs like the Jaylen Warrens of the world.

Both of my QBs on a bye this week (I know, stupid drafting) so I have to pick up someone. Anyone know if Tua's playing Sunday night against the Steelers?

The only other starters available are Heinicke (vs GB), Matty Ice (@TEN), Brissett (@bal), Zach Wilson (@Den) and Trubisky (@MIA).
Went with Tua and sounds like he will play against the Steelers which is a favorable matchup.

Jourdan is pretty plugged into all things Rams. That and very easy on the eyes.

Another week, another round of TE roulette. I dropped Tonyan after last week and took a chance on Dissly, which ended up costing me my matchup. I'll see if I can get him back. Failing that, will probably go with Otton. Gesicki, Bellinger and Henry are also out there.

ETA: Forgot about Dulcich. Not sure where I'd slot him in. Probably behind the other guys since he's a rookie plus has an underperforming QB
Yeah TE’s have been frustrating. I’m riding with Dissly again after a big under game and hoping.

This is a bit more direct than the interpretation there by Rotoworld(?)

I'm trying to be Zen about my TE decisions. None of us knows nuthin' and they all stink, so just choose a path and try not to look back.

But it's hard given I keep making the wrong decisions. In the first three weeks, I lost two matchups by a point after getting goose eggs from the TE slot. Then this past week I dropped Tonyan for DIssly and lost by 6.

By the way, this week I'm going with Otton. Consider this your warning that he will go 2/12/0

What a disaster. Lost out on Dak, Mariota and D. Jones in waivers.

So now I guess I'm starting Fields this week with Hurts on a bye.

I refuse to pick up Russ. Don't care if it costs me 50 points. Not worth selling my soul.

Contradicting what I just said about being Zen, Both Schultz and Engram are on the waiver wire. Not going to use a claim on them, but I could wait until Friday morning and pick one of them up if they're still available.

Are either/both worth it over Otton?

Pickett is on schedule to play, full practice Wednesday, won't officially clear concussion protocol until probably Friday.

He isn't a sexy option but put up decent numbers his first game and half, struggled a bit against TB before getting knocked out. Miami is a more appealing defense to go against than Fields vs New England. And Miami could put up a lot of points so Pickett will have the opportunity for garbage time points which count the same as regular points.

Anyone picking Mooney back up if he was dropped?

Target volume really spiked last week even if he didn’t do much with them and maybe, just maybe, the passing game can start to show signs of life.
Deciding among Mooney, Thornton and Collins. Probably going Mooney because he's done it before and has the highest potential target volume/least competition (for what it's worth with Fields).
Mooney gets to face the lions 2x yet, so that’s not a bad idea.

I don't even want to go back and look at the points I've scored with the useless TE carousel I've been on (but pretty sure its less than 10 points over the 6 weeks) -- drafted Schultz relatively high (but within recommendations) and hoping with Dak back things will finally click. Picked up Otton last week, but played Schultz instead (0), Conklin the week before (0). I think if Dak is back, hard not to start Schultzy IMO -- but you see my luck so far...

Zay Jones and Darnell Mooney are both out there on the WW, should I pick them up for the likes of the following:

Michael Gallup
George Pickens
Corey Davis

I'm tempted because they see more targets.

FWIW, due to byes and injuries I was going to be forced to start both Pickens and GWilson, which I wasn't excited about. Picked up Mooney to start over Wilson.

Not sure if Zay is trustable. Then again, no one on your list is close to trustable. Davis does seem to be getting the most targets since Zach came back, so I guess I would say it's a coin flip between him and Mooney..

Same here, it’s been a minefield and I’ve hit them all.

I think Gallup will be better soon. Coming back from injury takes a lil time and Dak is back

Taking a flyer on Jelani Woods as my backup (Freiermuth seems susceptible to concussions, and also has a bye coming up). Thought about Okonkwo, but Woods ceiling seems higher.

Chase Claypool is 6-4/235 listed, never knew he was that dang big.
Budding young rookie QB that was part of the win vs the Bucs last week
He's still in the Top 50 and coming off a big week...
Just sitting there on a lot of waiver wires but you are competing with several others

16 Targets over the last 2 Weeks...
And they play Miami on Sunday Night at Hard Rock, beautiful weather, Tua back, the ball will be flying and Miami's secondary has a lot of injuries right now.

Any interesting drops in your leagues?

Trevor Lawrence (my qb situation is dire)
Zay Jones
Elijah Mitchell
Burkhead (I own Pierce)
Van Jefferson

All have my attention for next week's run on some level or another.

What is the status of Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Josh Palmer (concussion)? If both miss, does DeAndre Carter deserve a Bye Week pick up play? There are a lot of "Targets" up for grabs if they both miss this game...

So Rondale, Wandale, and Brian Robinson are available in my ten team full ppr. Because of IR play, I’d had have to drop Henderson (have Zeke, Jeff, Mostert, Rhamondre) and Tua (have Kyler) to pick any of these players up.

Receivers are Adams, Olave, Godwin and Diontae (and Jameson). I feel like those players shouldn’t be on waivers but I’m not sure if should make a move. Any thoughts?

The #Packers are reportedly “All In” on current #Steelers WR Chase Claypool and will attempt to trade for him before the NFL trade deadline.

I don't know if that makes me like Claypool's prospects more or less.

Speaking of potential trades Elijah Moore (NYJ) unexpectedly absent from NYJ practice today.
Woah!
:oldunsure:

This guy has tons of potential and was a 2nd round pick, there was about a month where he was lights out last year but the team is moving more towards Wilson and others, they are 4-2 and if they don't really need him, why not aggressively find out what you could get in a trade. There are plenty of teams that need a guy like him, seems ashame he cannot be supported in the Jets offense, zero targets a week ago is not a good sign.

Again, I don't see what Moore has done to not deserve a decent chunk of targets and maybe he has voiced his concerns. He's super cheap for the next 2 years as well on a 2nd round rookie deal.

There's another New York team that might need his services. Daniel Jones isn't very exciting though.

Speaking of potential trades Elijah Moore (NYJ) unexpectedly absent from NYJ practice today.
As warmups ended, Jets coach Robert Saleh provided an explanation: Moore had been excused from the day’s practice to tend to a personal matter involving his family.
It’s unclear if the matter could affect Moore’s availability for Sunday’s game in Denver.
Moore has been a major topic of conversation this week because after the win over the Packers tweeted his own commentary while sharing a post from a reporter who noted it was “hard to understand” why Moore had zero targets in Green Bay.

“If I say what I really wanna say…I’ll be the selfish guy…we winning. Grateful!” Moore wrote. “Huge blessing! All I ever wanted. [Bitter] sweet for me but I’ll be solid. So I’ll just stay quiet. Just know I don’t understand either.”
Monday, Saleh said he talked to Moore and that his comments were a product of the receiver’s competitive nature and his wanting to contribute.
“I’ve got no problem with Elijah,” Saleh said. “He’s one of our high-character individuals. I love him to death. Eventually, the production part of it that he’s hoping for will come. He’s just continuing to work.”

Speaking of the Jets, if the trade deadline passes and Mims isn't on another Team...well, I just won't get it. He showed enough in the preseason that needy Teams ought to be willing to acquire, and with 3 guys ahead of him...maybe both sides are content to hold him until Davis is gone after this year (pure speculation based on things I've read, that are likely speculative, themselves).

ETA: One could pre-emptively aquire Mims for pretty much nothing, and see, if one had the room...
