Waiver Adds - Week 7 (after week 6) (1 Viewer)

Both of my QBs on a bye this week (I know, stupid drafting) so I have to pick up someone. Anyone know if Tua's playing Sunday night against the Steelers?

The only other starters available are Heinicke (vs GB), Matty Ice (@TEN), Brissett (@bal), Zach Wilson (@Den) and Trubisky (@MIA).
Matt Ryan vs #30 Tenn Pass Def is my vote ...
But I don't know the status of Jonathan Taylor & the Run Game...

Weekly plug for Jameson Williams. Hoping to see some practice updates soon.

Didn't sound close from yesterday's press conference

Lastly, Campbell provided a brief update on two other players who have yet to see the field: Lions first-round pick Jameson Williams (torn ACL) and fullback Jason Cabinda (ankle):

“I don’t see any of those guys (returning this week),” Campbell said. “They’re all on track. I think Cabinda is coming in a hurry, but I don’t know if I necessarily see him (returning) this week.”

Dan Campbell provides optimistic injury updates on several Lions players

(Josh Paschal, John Cominsky, Jerry Jacobs, Romeo Okwara and Jason Cabinda)

Dulcich Tight End for Denver

Pretty long TD for a TE and also had another target in the end zone, should have 2 TDs right now.
TD was on a completely blown coverage. Denver offense has done very little otherwise. Proceed with caution

@adamlevitan

Greg Dulcich's NFL debut last night:

* 41-of-58 snaps (71%)
* 22 slot, 16 inline, 3 wide
* 27 routes on 34 Russ Wilson dropbacks (79%)
* 3 targets for a 10.7% share
* 2-44-1 result
* Albert O a healthy scratch

Anecdotally, he was open many more times. Idk wtf Russ is doing in general.

Wan'dale Robinson

Tyquan Thornton

Kyren Williams (for after the bye, although Henderson may have shown enough yesterday)
Robinson has 5 targets on the season and Thornton has like 4..

They had ok games yesterday, but shouldn't be rosters guys yet IMO.
Robinson should 100% be rostered at this point. Maybe even prior to this week. Has the potential to be the #1 WR on the Giants.

Feel like W. Robinson should be this week's #1 pickup.

A lot of RB options that could be ok for a week (or not), still stuck in a RBBC, etc. Thinking L. Murray, K. Drake, C. Huntley, etc.

Robinson is going to have opportunity. Very little snaps, but clearly targeted coming off injury. Have to think snaps/targets grow.

Also get the sense that Daboll could give a damn about Toney/Golloday/Slayton/Sheppard. At 5-1, why would Daboll go to these guys vs. maybe his guy.

Agree completely. Hes already on pace for coach of the year - and now he has a chance - and a need - to showcase his number 1 draft pick. They will be calling him a genius in a week or 2.

Need to scoop up a QB off waivers....but can't decide who to cut; Garrett Wilson or Latavius Murray.

I hate posting anything too specific to my team, but I figure others might have a similar conundrum

Here's your one week play - Christian Watson

Rodgers isn't happy being short pass patient
Lot of margin for error playing Washington this week

Bellinger is a player like Alec Pierce who continues to grow and expand his playing time and results. NY G passing attack is in need of receivers.

Anyone picking Mooney back up if he was dropped?

Target volume really spiked last week even if he didn’t do much with them and maybe, just maybe, the passing game can start to show signs of life.

He missed week 6 and is questionable at best for week 7. He was used very sparingly before that. With Cobb hurt now, Watkins still on the shelf and Watson probably out, not sure what they do behind Doubs and Lazard.

Sorry..correction. Sammy Watkins is eligible to return.

Packers' Sammy Watkins: Takes part in on-field running

6 hrs ago | by RotoWire Staff
Watkins (hamstring) was spotted running routes on the field during pregame warmups prior to Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Jets, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
After missing the requisite four games since he landed on injured reserve Sept. 24, Watkins is eligible to return to action as soon as this upcoming weekend in Washington. The Packers have yet to open Watkins' 21-day window to resume practicing, but head coach Matt LaFleur alluded to the possibility of the receiver being able to mix into drills when Green Bay begins Week 7 prep Wednesday. If Watkins is able to practice and gains clearance to play against the Commanders, it would be a big boon to a struggling Packers passing attack that was became further weakened by the loss of Randall Cobb, who is expected to miss 2-to-4 weeks after his spraining his ankle in the loss to the Jets

I think Taylor is scheduled to return. I like the receivers more than Ryan in this, but can do worse that’s for sure.

I have the #1 priority and I HAVE to use it, unfortunately (my D is on bye).
Would you use it on Drake (have D Cook on bye and need a RB for this week) or Wan'dale Robinson? Or someone else?

Finally used #1 priority on Drake. Really need a start able player this week (assuming Taylor comes back and I can't rely on Jackson again).

Seems like this was the time. My league has a very shallow WW (12 teams 17 roster spots plus 2 IR) Gambling that Dobbins is gonna be iffy all season.

Jake Ferguson? He showed some nifty moves for a TE and had 4-40. Not sure how bad Shultz's "tweaked" knee is, and rookie TEs are always kinda iffy. But he looks good.

excerpt if they have another good week they become more expensive.... Most years I have an open roster spot to churn prospects like this. If others do you could do worse with an open spot.

Another week, another round of TE roulette. I dropped Tonyan after last week and took a chance on Dissly, which ended up costing me my matchup. I'll see if I can get him back. Failing that, will probably go with Otton. Gesicki, Bellinger and Henry are also out there.

ETA: Forgot about Dulcich. Not sure where I'd slot him in. Probably behind the other guys since he's a rookie plus has an underperforming QB

I have the #1 priority in my league. Drake is available. It just seems to me I’m my league there is nobody I’m interested in burning it on, but who knows when I’ll ever use it then.

I'd love to pick up W Robinson, but I already have a glut of guys with a week 9 bye:
Nick Chubb
CeeDee Lamb
Courtland Sutton
Tony Pollard
George Pickens

Drake is probably not what you want. Hold that WW 1 spot since there will be more injuries.

Albert O was dropped in my league with trade deadline looming. Would rather gamble there than old talent flashing like Murray or Drake, but will make a play for them all.

Drake worries me with Gus returning. What’s he worth when JK and Gus are playing?

IDP I like Dexter Lawrence this week. Talent was there back to college and now he’s racking up sacks.

Yeah, I’m not using it. It’s more like I can’t see myself using it at all this year. The WW just seems like a crap sandwich this year.

Got Allen Robinson. Overpaid for him but I see him as a handcuff to Cooper Kupp for me. Missed on Wandale. I put up $91, winner put up $110.

Ended up picking up nobody. Not at all surprising, would have been nice to have got Carr as a fill-in but got outbid by a couple of percent

Picked up Wandale. Someone grabbed Garrett Wilson who I dropped last week for twice as much as I bid on wandale. Hopefully I didn't make a mistake.

Deciding among Mooney, Thornton and Collins. Probably going Mooney because he's done it before and has the highest potential target volume/least competition (for what it's worth with Fields).

Got Wan'Dale for 12%. Nice.

No one in my league even bid on Drake. Wasnt he supposed to be the hot item this week? Should I drop Khalil Herbert or Gerald Everett for him (Ertz my starting TE)? Starting Zeke in the flex this week.

I play in a 16-teamer with Double Flexes (WR/TE and WR/RB/TE) and only 4 bench spots to preserve FA. I managed to pick up Tyquan Thornton for $9 FAAB (next closest was 4) and Parris Campbell for $2. I felt both could trend up as legit WR3s in the future:

Tyquan Thornton - He brings a dimension the Pats lack (superior speed/agility), will get schemed running touches and his skillset doesn't mesh with DeVante Parker (different roles). He's better than Agholor/Bourne and could challenge for a starting WR spot opposite Jakobi Meyers.

Parris Campbell - Indy revamped their offensive philosophy/pace last week with a lot of quick-hitting passes/faster routes for Ryan. AKA more dumpoffs/short passes to the slot, which is where Parris Campbell lives. Initially I was worried about Indy TE spam and no Jonathon Taylor, but the O seems repeatable coming off one of Ryan's best games all year. Campbell certainly could grow into a role where he sees 7-9 targets regularly going forward.

Full disclosure, I then flipped Campbell after waivers in a trade for Robbie Anderson.

Same on Drake, I picked him up to see what happens in the Bal RBBC. J.K. Dobbins setback makes this wide open again. He's end of my bench(Dropped Russ, who I picked up last week). I guess if you need him, out of those guys I'd drop Everett.

I've been chasing RB's all season - the Zeke in the 5th round philosophy hasn't worked as planned. Dalvin Cook on bye week - added Kenyan Drake, plucked Elijah Mitchell off waivers to ride my IR slot until he's healthy. I'm regretting the Drake add and Wan'Dale is still available... I'll probably flip a coin today to determine who gets a roster spot. This year is brutal.

I guess I'll wait to determine if Dobbins is a full participant in practice and go from there..
:tfp:

Picked up Gus Edwards, but thinking I should have grabbed Kyren Williams --- thoughts? Gus may have more immediate value, but limited with a crowded backfield.

Someone just dropped Melvin Gordon in my PPR league.

Just not sure what to think.
Seems like a good backfield to avoid if possible. Gordon could have 3 carries or 13 carries next game. Nobody knows and nobody should be surprised by his usage. The Denver RBs have been managed poorly all season and I Dont expect that to change.

I am more interested because I think there is a possibility the Broncos may try to ship Gordon somewhere for a conditional UDFA and a half eaten bag of Cheetos (puffed, not crunchy and not even Flamin'Hot).

Roto update that I really wish had waited to publish tomorrow after waivers.

The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue expects Rams fifth-round rookie RB Kyren Williams (ankle, I.R.) to have a "big role" once he returns.

The Rams have yet to open Williams' 21-day practice window after he underwent ankle surgery before the season. But over the summer, it appeared Williams was ticketed for a bigger-than-expected role on offense, possibly even moving ahead of Cam Akers on the depth chart, but then he got hurt. With Akers now done in Los Angeles either via trade or some other form of transaction, there's a spot for Williams alongside Darrell Henderson. Williams is worth a stash on fantasy benches or injured reserve lists.
