How badly do you need him? How badly does the Brady owner need him? There was a thread about this exact topic earlier this afternoon I think and the early consensus seemed to be around 75% of budget ($75 in your case).I'm still trying to figure out how much, of a $500 budget, I should bid on Eddie Royal...I am in a 2QB league and am very light at QB. I am prepared to bid more than half my waiver wire dollars on him. Still considering the amount, but it will be in the $50s (out of $100).The key for me is that there will be QBs being replaced over the year, but most times it will be a shaky QBBC, where the original can come back after a few weeks, or a short-term injury. I don't see the Pats putting anyone else behind center this year barring a big collapse.
searched for "Cassel", any idea where the thread is?Thanks...How badly do you need him? Don't mean to hijack the thread, but #### that is a fantastic idea. I think I may implement that in my league immediately. We do add one waiver dollar per correct NFL game prediction though (Most teams get about $8-$10 a week).
no clue what anyone else was bidding? In my 12 team dynasty league I just cant see a whole lot of people breaking the bank on cassel, at least I wouldn't be if I didnt have brady. No way I am going 60 on him myself. Your end year doallr amount is alot higher than 100 though also...the Brady owner got him for $60 today (out of $100)We do add one waiver dollar per correct NFL game prediction though (Most teams get about $8-$10 a week).
I'm the Commish, but it's blind bidding, so I can't see the bids. I heard that one other team bid $45. I'm not sure if there were any higher bids.no clue what anyone else was bidding? In my 12 team dynasty league I just cant see a whole lot of people breaking the bank on cassel, at least I wouldn't be if I didnt have brady. haha, im in HA2 and HA3I may look to bid on him as well...But my other league uses these waivers and in one league i got way more loot than all the other owners via traded BB bucks and what not.I almost have 2800.00 while other about a 1000.00 under me. they will definitely have to bid high on him over there if ANYONE wants him.In HyperActive I posted a message saying they have to bid at least 1000 if they want him. It's fake cash and we carry over balances from year to year. I'm not saying I'm going to bid that much, but I'm not saying I won't either. At least force some owner who wants him to pay a hefty price.
Same thing in my league - the guy that got him bid in the high teens. I bid much higher than that ($44) but I got Rivers with a higher bid first. It's the first year of FAAB in this league, so there's no real reference point for how much owners are willing to spend or how they value players...I bid and won him for $17 of $100 but two notes:1) The FAAB process ran on Wednesday and most owners probably forgot and neglected to put in bids.2) It is a 10 team league where we start 1 QB.
