Waiver Wire Bidding for Cassel (1 Viewer)

I am in a 2 QB league and am more interested in that, but will open to all discussion. Please post if you are in a 2 QB league, otherwise we can assume single QB.

I am in a 2QB league and am very light at QB. I am prepared to bid more than half my waiver wire dollars on him. Still considering the amount, but it will be in the $50s (out of $100).

The key for me is that there will be QBs being replaced over the year, but most times it will be a shaky QBBC, where the original can come back after a few weeks, or a short-term injury. I don't see the Pats putting anyone else behind center this year barring a big collapse.

went 50 on warner and 27 on cassel, dynasty league 12 teams. Start 1...may up both before thursday as my backup is russel.

How badly do you need him? How badly does the Brady owner need him? There was a thread about this exact topic earlier this afternoon I think and the early consensus seemed to be around 75% of budget ($75 in your case).I'm still trying to figure out how much, of a $500 budget, I should bid on Eddie Royal...

searched for "Cassel", any idea where the thread is?Thanks...

the Brady owner got him for $60 today (out of $100)

We do add one waiver dollar per correct NFL game prediction though (Most teams get about $8-$10 a week).

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but #### that is a fantastic idea. I think I may implement that in my league immediately.

What do yous think about NE's pass schedule ... Is Cassell worth that..with that in consideration?

no clue what anyone else was bidding? In my 12 team dynasty league I just cant see a whole lot of people breaking the bank on cassel, at least I wouldn't be if I didnt have brady. No way I am going 60 on him myself. Your end year doallr amount is alot higher than 100 though also...

I'm the Commish, but it's blind bidding, so I can't see the bids. I heard that one other team bid $45. I'm not sure if there were any higher bids.

In HyperActive I posted a message saying they have to bid at least 1000 if they want him. It's fake cash and we carry over balances from year to year. I'm not saying I'm going to bid that much, but I'm not saying I won't either. At least force some owner who wants him to pay a hefty price.

haha, im in HA2 and HA3I may look to bid on him as well...But my other league uses these waivers and in one league i got way more loot than all the other owners via traded BB bucks and what not.I almost have 2800.00 while other about a 1000.00 under me. they will definitely have to bid high on him over there if ANYONE wants him.

inherited 2 qb team that was brady, russel, redman, harrington. drafted ryan. $1000 budget. $1000 bid. i think he'll cover that bid with decent numbers.

Brady owner in my league just paid $370 out of $1000 for the year. Then another $200 on Collins in a panic move

I bid and won him for $17 of $100 but two notes:

1) The FAAB process ran on Wednesday and most owners probably forgot and neglected to put in bids.

2) It is a 10 team league where we start 1 QB.

12 team, start one qb, 100 bidding dollars. One league got him with 81.00 bid (Brady owner) Another league he went for 61.00.

Same thing in my league - the guy that got him bid in the high teens. I bid much higher than that ($44) but I got Rivers with a higher bid first. It's the first year of FAAB in this league, so there's no real reference point for how much owners are willing to spend or how they value players...

In one league I used 77% of my bidding dollars.

In another league I used 55% of my BB$.

I own Brady in both leagues.
