This week? If so, my guess is Jerome Harrison. Lewis, IMO, was an injury away from losing his job (a matter of when, not if), and James Davis was the guy many had stashed on their bench in the "event" Lewis would not play or get taken over. Harrison got the start (hey, he was the #2 on the chart) and while he did not set the world on fire, he did get 55 yards and 5 catches for 33 yards against the Ravens...not too shabby. That is roughly 13 points in PPR...not bad for a RB 3 or a flex player here on out. I own Lewis in a league where I can grab players at any time (no WW) and I picked him up.
For the record, Davis had 5 carries, for 10 yards (2.0 YPC...Harrison was 3.? on his)...I have to admit, I did not see the game, so if anyone would confirm how Harrison looked against this tough D, it would be much appreciated.

He looked much better than Jamal Lewis has looked this year. It's tough to say what will happen though, because Harrison has looked good for the past 2 years and not got a chance.

garcon is the play and he is still available in most leagues. i am in tons of leagues and simswalker, knox, laurent robinson all went like hot cakes last week while garcon lingered. too bad i was right in the mix for those chumps when the indy number 2 was just sittin there. oh ya, i even grabbed meachem and kelley washington over him. ugh.
Nate Washington dropped SEVERAL thrown his way. Britt looks real good. Timing might be right here.Britt looks so good(for a rookie), may push the envelope in a dynasty trade for him. He just turned 21 rrrrrrrreally bright future.

If you need a spot start from a QB in week 5, get Kevin Kolb now.
RB: Fred Taylor looks good for his age. He can be counted on for 50 yards and a TD every two or three games.
WR: Mike Wallace also looks good for his age! Think Nate Washington last year and govern yourself accordingly. He might be a good spot starter if needed.
TE: Vernon Davis is aging well - a beast with Top 10 TE written all over him. Pick him up and start him with confidence.
RB: Fred Taylor looks good for his age. He can be counted on for 50 yards and a TD every two or three games.
WR: Mike Wallace also looks good for his age! Think Nate Washington last year and govern yourself accordingly. He might be a good spot starter if needed.

Won't McNabb be back by then? That is after Philly's bye week. Vernon Davis is a great pickup. Also available in my main league (short bench) is Nate Burleson. He has been a serviceable #2 in PPR or at least a solid flex.

What is the thought on Schilens? My understanding is that he's due back soon. I find it hard to believe that any Oakland reciever has great value, but i just lost Laurent Robinson and am looking to take a flyer on a WR with upside.

Same boat here. We're treading on a WDIS, but I'm targeting Schilens and crossing my fingers that he's back this week. He's got far more upside than the other guys on waivers (Burton included).

Davone Bess is on pace for 91 receptions. He lacks a high ceiling because the TD potential isn't there but in a PPR league, he's a very sneaky play as a WR3 in my opinion. He's probably sitting on a bunch of Waiver Wires right now.

I actually feel sorry for Raider Nation . . . the spring draft was bad enough, but those guys are so passionate and they are watching one of the worst quarterbacks that I have seen - the offense is dreadful - kudos for them for still going to the game . . .

I am going to be targeting Celek and Mason (Not sure which order)- Yep I know neither should be on Waivers but we have only 5 reserve spots per team in a 12 man league.

Those of you mentioning Schilens, I only have one thing to say about that: he relies on Jamarcus to get him the ball. I was ready to buy on him before his injury too, but seeing the QB self-destruct more each week has me glad I waited while the Raider fan in my league snatched him up way too early.
