Sampson SP HOU - has had only one bad outing thus far and as been great otherwise!. Only 59 innings or so in the bigs but the kid has pitched very well and is very under the radar for some inexplicable reason. He gets a ton of K's as well.

His rough WHIP seems to be the result of one bad game, so that's encouraging. His K numbers are all over the place, but he looks like he's worth keeping an eye on.

if you're in a league that credits doubles, I think you definately add Lowell. Lowell's track record is one more bad year, than last year being a fluke and he's a solid add. I slept on him, and after that game last Sunday night he got gobbled up and I definately regret it. The others, more based on need, I don't think Rowland is an attrocious add(none of them are) but I can see where you're coming from with Green and El Duque.

I like Jon Lieber a lot, avail. in 68% of Sportsline leagues right now. Good K/BB, good GB/FB, but I'd spot start him judiciously. Capps and Cabrera if you're short on closers and are willing to wait on a CIW.
