He is not expected to be ready for the start of the season! Having a second surgery on the same knee at 35 can't bode well. Could be a long year for Hasslebeck and Company behind what is now a very shaky line.

Walter Jones to undergo knee surgery

Posted by Danny O'Neil

Left tackle Walter Jones will undergo surgery on his left knee on Thursday morning, an arthroscopic procedure.

Jones left practice Monday after participating in an 11-on-11 drill. It is the same knee Jones underwent microfracture surgery on in December.

Any hope of a resurgence for the Seahawks rests on the return of a healthy Walter Jones so this doesn't bode well.

Unger has looks decent so far but the Seahawks OL is thin and if Walter Jones is hurting all year it doesn't bode well for Hasslebeck and the rest of the Seahawks.

Jones hates TC so this does not surprise me that he didn't "feel right."
Yeah but this is the first time he has been 35 and coming off of major surgery. I don't think he would fake a back injury and pretend to not be able to get up. And if he would it doesn't say much about his commitment level.

I thought it was a knee injury?
Jones, 35, who underwent microfracture surgery on his left knee in December. He left practice Monday because of how his knee felt and underwent a magnetic-resonance image (MRI) test. The arthroscopic procedure will be to remove any lose bodies or scar tissue affecting the knee.

It was originally reported to be a back injury by the Seattle beat writers. He had back spasms earlier in camp and when he went down again on Monday I think they assumed it was that again. But in fact it was his surgically repaired knee flaring up this time
