Kudos to Norton for pointing this out in his EOTG yesterday and another reason I'm cutting down every tree in my backyard to get a view of the southwestern sky next spring.

Could be worth considering Doughty in a pinch, but the momentum Landry had been gaining over the past two months is likely gone. Here's hoping the Redskins can find a safety that can cover before 2008 or we're going to see the same thing happen to Landry that is plaguing Donte Whitner. For Landry, it meant returning to the role he played at Louisiana State — manning the deep middle of the field. Throughout the first half of this season, Landry was used in the box to play the run and as a blitzer.

During their first three games together, Landry and Doughty played Cover 2 the majority of the time, each responsible for half of the field.
But assistant head coach-defense Gregg Williams mixed up his game plan significantly against Chicago, playing primarily man coverage until the final two possessions.
Doughty played 55 of the 77 snaps (not including penalties). In a sign of how he might be used in the future, he played coverage 23 times.
....
Landry played every snap against Chicago. On 63 plays, he played deep middle, including 46 snaps where he was the lone safety playing back.
