Why are the Falcons favored after getting blown out by the Carolina Panthers 30-0 last week and they are favored to be Washington this week, how is that possible?
But yes that's exactly what will happen, in fact maybe Atlanta wins handily

Commanders pass defense is awful. If Penix can't get going this week, it might be time to go back to Cousins. Washington is especially rough in the middle of the field, so in theory, this should be a game for Kyle Pitts.

Mariota has been as good as he's ever been as a QB in his limited work with Washington. I think he has a nice game and is a great fit with Kingsbury. I also applaud the Commanders for being patient with Daniels. I think Washington gets the run game going this week (though probably still a jumbled 3-way RBBC mess) but I think the Deebo is an elite WR without McLaurin case is pretty flawed.

I think Washington wins this game, and I think its very possible Penix goes to the bench.

I think the betting line is because the masses don't think much of Mariota. And Vegas knows that so has to set the line where betting is equal. Fact is he has played great. His QB rating is actually 20 points higher than Daniels the last two seasons. Without McLaurin it might be a rougher week though. I think we see a low scoring tight game. hopefully WAS can get it going on the ground early.
