Still should have been good for some laughs though. That's because you have most likely heard many good reviews and quotes over the last few years that the movie was so built up in your mind that there was no way it could have lived up to the expectations you set.
that was Star Wars for meThat's because you have most likely heard many good reviews and quotes over the last few years that the movie was so built up in your mind that there was no way it could have lived up to the expectations you set.
That could be a possibility, but I don't think that was the case... It really wasn't that good... Like I said, there were some okay moments, but nothing to write home about...That's because you have most likely heard many good reviews and quotes over the last few years that the movie was so built up in your mind that there was no way it could have lived up to the expectations you set.
Little Miss Sunshine for me last week.that was Star Wars for meThat's because you have most likely heard many good reviews and quotes over the last few years that the movie was so built up in your mind that there was no way it could have lived up to the expectations you set.
You must be new here.
This news from you is not surprising....and I don't understand the love for this movie...Yeah it had maybe one or two good things, but the TPS reports was maybe only funny for the first 1/2 time that it was used...I wish I had that 90 minutes back...
When it comes to posty..You must be new here.
No... What is confusing is what is so great about that movie... I work in a cubicle all day and still didn't think it was funny...When it comes to posty..You must be new here. What, he lose his Funny bone in a war or something??

If you actually work in a cubicle and didn't see the humor, then congrats....your working environment more closely resembles "normal" than the vast majority of those of others in your position.No... and for it to stretch into Thursday is a REAL bad case..Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays........and I don't understand the love for this movie...Yeah it had maybe one or two good things, but the TPS reports was maybe only funny for the first 1/2 time that it was used...I wish I had that 90 minutes back...
Yep I am the same one... The only reason that I am not at FFToday any more during the day is that it is blocked at work...But I am not fishing my friend... I just don't get as to why people think this movie is great...posty = Skip BaylessIf the majority of folks think its great, count on posty to think its not all that wonderful. If its the same posty that was at FFToday, then this fits his M.O. perfectly. He crys wolf so much that something is not that good that most people think is good, I have to think at times he is fishing.
Comes down to being able to relate. The F'n Copying/Fax Machine that is always jamming. The Mindless boss that has no clue what the F is going on.The boredum of staring at cubicle walls waiting for the day to get over. The Always cheerful person who you wish the Copying machine would fall on.Being able to relate to any/all of those things makes the movieYep I am the same one... I have had things like that happen and can relate to it, but I didn't think it was funny as people are making it out to be...Comes down to being able to relate. The F'n Copying/Fax Machine that is always jamming. The Mindless boss that has no clue what the F is going on.The boredum of staring at cubicle walls waiting for the day to get over. The Always cheerful person who you wish the Copying machine would fall on.Being able to relate to any/all of those things makes the movie :X for a lot of us.
please, Milton has personalityTannerBoyle said:And now you're suing Mike Judge since he didn't get your permission to base the Milton character after you?Watched "Office Space" for the first time last night...
Doesn't everybody?I know he hates the city of Pittsburgh as well.
I watched some of it as well last night on IFC....my 2nd time seeing it. Like others, thought it was better the 2nd time (love the 'Michael Bolton' interview).I had the same reaction to 'Clerks' when I first saw it. Had some funny moments, but not in the top-tier of greatest all time comedies, imo....and I don't understand the love for this movie...Yeah it had maybe one or two good things, but the TPS reports was maybe only funny for the first 1/2 time that it was used...I wish I had that 90 minutes back...
Everything.What else does Posty hate?
I dont post there much, if ever, anymore because the FF information is terrible and the "Geek Club" is slow and repetitive. As far as the movie, I think the poster that said the ability to relate makes it funny is correct. Sort of like alot of comedian's jokes are so funny because they are so true. The bit with the traffic in the beginning of the movie is funny because its so durn true. The waitress and the use of flair is so funny because its so true. Alot of the movie is that way.Yep I am the same one... That's because your probably a Lumburgh or a Milton. Congrats on annoying all your fellow employees at work!...and I don't understand the love for this movie...Yeah it had maybe one or two good things, but the TPS reports was maybe only funny for the first 1/2 time that it was used...I wish I had that 90 minutes back...
XEverything.What else does Posty hate?

His life.Posty also hates Pulp Fiction IIRC. What else does Posty hate?
Great DVD. But the should have included the original Milton cartoons in their entirety. One of my 10 favorite movies ever. Just got the special edition DVD, since my original was snagged by some amoral friend.
