Hi all,

12 team PPR, 4pt QB pass TD

Currently have R. Wilson/Watson/Bridgewater at QB and 1.05, 1.08, and 1.11.

Was offered Doctson/Golladay for Watson and a swap in my favor in the 4th round of the rookie/non keeper draft.

QB's are hard to value since everyone has at least 2 semi decent QBBC guys at worst.

I'm always a sucker for potential but feel like I'm better served making the trade and maybe grabbing a QB at 1.11 (would likely be the 1st or 2nd QB off the board).

Thoughts?

That's not enough for Watson IMO.  Both Doctson and Golladay have talent but have been teases so far.  No guarantee that either one will take the next step and be a clear cut fantasy starter.  You know Watson is a clear cut fantasy starter, and he's definitely a top 5 dynasty QB.  If you want to deal Watson, I would want a high draft pick or a clear cut fantasy starter at WR or RB.  A better approach is to deal Watson along with a decent starting WR or RB on your team and try and acquire an elite talent.

Personally, I would just put Wilson and Watson on the block and try to see which one fields more return.  I would have no issue dealing one of them and starting the other.  IMO, they are both similarly ranked in dynasty.

I agree with fightingillini.  Watson is a difference maker even if he is a QB.  Those WR's being offered really don't have much in the way of upside.  They are nice and could be WR2's at some point but I don't think they have the potential to be WR1 type players.  I would think you could get much better for Watson at some point - even if that is next year when he proves that 2017 wasn't a fluke and he is healthy from his injury.

No, When you have QB's like Wilson and Watson you really need to keep them both because of the hits they take and you never know when you'll lose one. Yes Wilson has been remarkably healthy but his luck wont continue forever. The only reason to give up Watson is if you are going to get an elite RB or WR in exchange which neither of those guys are at this point.

Late last season after DW's injury, I acquired him and CCarson for J.Howard and M Mariota. I didn't want to give up Howard but Watson looks like a special player to me.
