Not at all. Personally, I would deal one that can give you the best value in a trade. Right now Watson's value can't get much higher. Put both on the block and see what you can get. Given Big Ben's struggles, Carr's injury, Manning losing most of his WRs, Winston's inconsistent play and Mariota's injury, you may be able to find a team with a QB need.
Watson is the fairly easy choice. His legs give him the boost and I believe him to be the real deal. I wouldn't be surprised if he is in the 5-10 range for QB's the rest of the year with a decent shot at being top 5.
I agree with fightingillini that you should shop your QB's and see what you can get to help you elsewhere. No need to have 2 rostered especially if you end up capitalizing on Watson's high performance right now since Ryan is done with his bye.
Given the choice, I would ride the hot hand and go with Watson. HOU D is going to be suspect now that Watt is out....a lot of good game scripts for Watson going forward.
Agree with all. Start Watson - he'll be a strong QB1 rest of season. Trade M. Ryan - his value prob won't go any higher this season as last year was his peak.
I'm in a standard league, and find it's hard to deal QB's for anything unless they are elite level like Brady, Rodgers or Brees. I have Cam and Watson, and 3 weeks ago before I snagged Watson and threw him in over Cam, I thought I was the one who needed to deal for a QB. My how things have changed! In any event, I'm leaning towards Watson since TNF tends to be ugly for passing games.
