I looks like Darkwa and Shane Vereen will be out this week. Paul Perkins has done nothing this year. Gallman could be activated this week. I think he might be the best of the bunch. Would you take a chance and drop Orleans Darkwa for Gallman this week, and maybe be ahead of the curve.

No harm in doing it.  Darkwa is such a long shot to actually be good for you, might as well buy a lotto ticket

I'd stay put. Darkwa  is a better lottery ticket than Gallman because he is higher up on the depth chart.  Honestly-I'd consider dropping Darkwa for a lottery ticket on another team besides the Giants.
