How do people feel about Corey Mays and Sean Smith? Studs?

I need more time on Mays. What about Demario Williams? He is also a ILB for KC. He racked up some tackles.I have not looked into Smith yet.

The whole Demorrio Williams/Derrick Johnson issue is vexing. I'm currently holding on to Johnson as a 3rd LB in some leagues, have been able to grab Williams to cover the situation in leagues that are deep enough. In one league though, Bart Scott just appeared on the WW......who thinks he is worth the pick up for Johnson? I know David Harris was impressive but surely giving up on Scott so early is a mistake?

didn't see the Miami game but I did notice in the ProFootballFocus.com game charting info, Smith was thrown at 5 times with only 1 completion. Vontae Davis was on the field for a couple of more plays than Smith.

From the Poz injury update, its hard to tell, IMO. THey say they played mostly with 2 LBs after the injury and may look to add an experienced guy.I have Poz but will hold off adding his backup for a week, I am going after Tulloch in Tenn.

Quentin Groves looking like he'll get time as a "stand up" DE/OLB in JAX Hybrid D. He is up to 263 lbs from 255 last year. They dropped the player from last week who took Hayward's place (injury) Wyche today. As long as Groves thigh injury doesn't persist (he missed practice today) he might be worth a look

Hi all,

Any DTs worth looking at for those DT required leagues out there? Wilfork got me a fat zero points. The highest scoring guys available on the wire are Antonio Johnson, IND; Marcus Stroud, BUF; Jimmy Kennedy, MIN.

Also available is John Henderson, JAC who I read played some at DE, but his playing time was increased when Harvey was pulled, so not sure he can repeat, and he didn't score very much anyway.

Are any of those guys worth taking or should I give Wilfork one more week? I also have Kyle Williams, BUF so Wilfork can ride pine for now....

This is a dynasty league BTW if it makes any difference.....(just read in another thread that Jene says that Williams Hayes could be on the verge of becoming a stud 4-3 end, but he isn't getting enough snaps yet. (He is listed as a DT on ESPN) He is available, is he worth a look since this is a dynasty league?)

DT is the hardest position for me to wrap my head around and spot true talent vs. flash-in-the-pan....

Oh and BTW you all already said everyone I looked at to pick up, except I do like Calais Campbell, ARI. I've had my eye on him all preseason and he had a pretty good week one. Also if you look in the thread someone posted about % of tackles, Calais is the only DE on the list, which could be telling....

DT Jason Jones from Tenn doesn't start I believe, but he gets a lot of snaps in the Titans DL rotation and he's pretty good at getting to the QB. He backed up Haynesworth last year and when he got to start, he produced sacks. Granted it was a very small sample size, but worth looking at.

My claims are in for Ellison and Chillar, in that order. Nothing else available on any of my wire's that's too intriguing, at least compared to who's already on my roster. I'm hurting for a 3rd LB in one league as I don't have much faith in any of Dhani Jones, Sims, and Maualuga behind David Harris and Larry Foote and I don't know what Timmons' status is nor do I believe I can rely on him to start just yet. I have a lethal starting 3 in my other league (Willis, Durant, Laurinaitis) but have nothing (Kevin Burnett, Adibi, Blades) behind them.I just hope I can get one of them, obviously I'd love both but I'm not holding my breath.
