***Week 1 Game Thread - Wash at NYG*** (2 Viewers)

Eli is 9/18. I don't like QBs with that completion %, but you gotta like what he does with the ones he does complete. But ask me that question again when he throws an INT and we see the ELI face.

Jacobs has impressed tonight, but Im glad I dont have him on any of my teamsSame thing they did last year with splitting carries. Ward and Bradshaw will be getting too many carries for Jacobs to get to Top 10 status despite the skill being thereI still dont know why they pull him out sometimes on short yardage and GL sometimes......an of course im playing the guy that has Burress and London Fletcher....@*^$^!(!#^*&%
Not sure why anyone would draft Jacobs as an RB1, so not being in the top ten probably won't be disappointing any rational people.
My point was hes got the talent to be a top 10 RB probably if he even got 70% of the GMens carries over the season, but it doesnt look that wayEven if he does get 80-90 yards tonight, Id still be frustrated as an owner with him looking so good but being out for whole drives at a time

This years Skins play calling looks just like last years so far. Open up the field for crying out loud and take a shot. NYG are daring Wash to do something deeper than 15 yds with all the guys up in the box.
When you're not protecting him, and when his receivers are covered on the short routes (which were what was called obviously to instill confidence/tempo in Campbell) then what do you do?
I think the protection has been more than adequate. Campbell is creating his own trouble thus far.
I think you're overestimating how open his receivers are. Now, he shouldn't hesitate and hold the ball like he has, but his first options are consistently blanketed. I'd like to see some adjustments. For example, Moss often eats the Giants alive, and they need to take a shot deep to him. But they need to call something other than routes near the LOS because those aren't working.
Santana is so quick he should have a "money" route by now. There's gotta be one quick scoot that no one can cover that lil bugger on.Clark can't cover Davis or Cooley, put em' both in.

Ummm, thats exactly what I'm saying.
You are correct - I'm scanning more than reading, so substitute a :goodposting: for my other post. ;)

Glad I have Burress/Manning on my team this year! :goodposting: :suds:
Glad I tried to be sneaky-smart, starting Randle El at my WR4 spot. At this point, I'm just hoping he's in the general vicinity of a fumble or something. Is a stretch to hope for a mere two targets? ;)
(last year El owner)It seems they only go to him when they desperately have no other options. Moss is healthy so starting El wasn't a good idea. IMO He's underappreciated in WASH.

Coughlin should definitely just sit Burress

That '11 mill jump in his step' wont run out so quick then

At the moment, passing is underappreciated in Washington.

vaGiants should be up by more than this. anyone who has watched enough football has seen games where one team is owning the other...but failed to put them away. not saying it'll happen tonight, but I'll always remember Dallas 13-0 on MNF, week 2 of 2005. of course, that was with cagey old pro mark brunell, who probably did complete a pass before the half

If it means anything, NYG special teams hasnt looked good

Cartwright's returns just keep getting longer

Is there an RB in the league who earns each and every yard like Portis does? Every carry is a battle with that OL the last year +

NOT a fan of that 15 yard only facemask change

Not big on the pushout rule change either, but its not near as bad as that

Apparently Randle El must be their WR1 since they let him run longer than 6 yard routes
I've been saying for weeks that they plan on getting him the ball. Now, they actually need to complete something, but that's the plan.

Why isn't AB starting? :lmao:

Getting most of the touches? :lmao: :hophead:

He was a consensus top 30 RB around here. I missed the memo about him being a 6th round, 3rd string RB. Probably should have been a sticky.
