Week 1 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Fingers crossed that not much happens, but if it does post it here.

Only a serious obvious injury should get it's own thread.

Otherwise keep it in here until we hear more.

Texans DE Connor Barwin carted off the field with an ugly right knee injury for those in IDP leagues. Out for the game most definitely and it really didn't look good as far as coming back any time soon.

Max Starks taken off. Run, Dennis, run.

ETA: Doesn't look good, needed alot of help getting off the field. Couldn't put any weight at all on his ankle.

ETA: Being carted to the locker room.

For Stafford, it looked pretty bad to me. Classic drive the shoulder into the ground by the defender. Not a cheap shot at all, just the type of injury you see often where the entire weight of Julius Peppers is behind driving the shoulder into the ground.

kolb hurting, looks ok from the sideline

update on weaver: apparently a sprain, looked much worse though

Stewart Bradley, probably concussion.

Stood up post play, but had no balance and fell to the ground after a couple of steps.

Ryan Grant down, right knee, limped off
Grant cannot put any weight on it - HOPPED all the way to the locker room as fast as he could - Guess so they could x-ray it, wrap it, and he could come back for the 2nd half.

Really appreciate the quick updates for those of us who can't watch the game, but the confident statements about severity of injury and time they'll be out aren't helpful.

Nobody here knows if someone is "going to miss significant time." Hopping and putting no pressure on it, not looking good, etc. are awesome. It's just less awesome with Holiday Inn doctors acting like team physicians.
