Week 1 Waiver Wire (1 Viewer)

Tres Siete.Perry and Watson are horrible. Tres Siete will be starting for the Bungles by week 4.
I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you on that one. Kenny Watson did not get a chance to suck. 2 carries for 13 yards and 2 catches for 3 yards. I do believe that the Cincinati Bengals suck and there may not be a lot of value at there RB position all year no matter who is in it. Tres Siete is a cool name though, is that a real player?

Based on his first NFL carry (for a bull-rush TD)....Felix Jones
He shouldn't be on the WW period.
Yeah, because all leagues and roster size rules are just like yours. :loco: Get a life.In my shallow league $$ he went undrafted and will get picked up this week. FYI-- Sportsline leagues have him owned at 67%, not 100%.
Can I join your league next year?
lol..we havent had an opening in 10 years but with just 5 on the bench its this type of thing that creates a waiver frenzy in my league. And the dude with the number one waiver pick---has Brady, so I know Felix wont be joining his team.

Unless he's a shark... then he might grab Felix and trade him for an average QB :goodposting: lol..we havent had an opening in 10 years but with just 5 on the bench its this type of thing that creates a waiver frenzy in my league. And the dude with the number one waiver pick---has Brady, so I know Felix wont be joining his team.

He's at his limit for RB so he'd have to make two moves, but I see your point. Methinks he's hyper-focused on the available qb's. His backup is Schaub, who will be better, so he's not dead in the water. But it really sucks to be a Brady owner tonight, eh.

Bears wideouts or Orton. Turns out the Bears aren't just going to punt on second down after all. The Bears defense looks to be ready to roll and their offense could rival that offense from the last time Orton played.

Eagles Defense. Grab 'em if you punted defense in your draft and they're available, their defense will be good and the return game is for real.

Rosario will be the #1 TE in Carolina this year and I think he will be a top 10 TE. I also like Fasano.
There has never been such man-love in the world as Delhomme for Steve Smith. Rosario looks good but won't get nearly as many targets when Smith comes back.
The Panthers have a lot of good receiving options this year, unlike years in the past except for when Smith and Moose were together. Rosario is one of their weapons, and they aren't going to all of a sudden stop using him, because there biggest weapon is returning soon. It's better for Smith this year, because now there are other weapons that have to be accounted for. Rosario is going to be a big redzone target.

I agree... I never said they would stop using him, only that his targets are going to go down.

After seeing D. Jackson in the first preseason game I should have followed my first mind and went with them. Thier Defense is usually always good because they blitz so much but they haven't had a returner since Westbrook. They seem to be a lock for a TOP 10 def. along with CAR and Buf.

I just don't see it with McCalin. He's a 260lb fullback. They won't be playing the Bengals every week. And McGahee will be back.

Any Addai owners considering Rhodes as a handcuff now? I know I am given his fragility. I'm probably taking a wait and see approach given his injury but it's definitely crossed my mind.

Rosario played outstanding, what happened to J. King?

Same with Bo Scaife, where was Crumpler?

Did any of those guys get hurt?

Rosario is the pass-catching TE. This situation is very similar to the Denver situation where Graham is the "#1 TE". He might catch a few passes, but most passing plays involving a TE go to the #2, Scheffler. It is the same thing here, King is still the #1, but Rosario is the more dynamic pass threat so since they need that with Smith out, they put him in and he did great.

Rhodes looked like his usual below-average self last night, and that inability to convert on fourth down couldn't have helped his stock. If anyone, I'd keep an eye on Mike Hart as time goes on.

Any offensive player who faces the Lions D the following week. Those guys are terrible.

So I guess if you have Adrian Peterson, Reggie Wayne and Drew Brees you'll be in your league championship game.

KC Chiefs DEF/ST did well vs the Pats and have Oak and Atl next two weeks.

I like Pierre Thomas...especially since they play Det week 16.

Pierre Thomas (5-10, 215 lbs) 10 rushes 52 yards (5.2 ypc), 2 receptions for 11 yards and 67 KR yards.Reggie Bush (6-0, 203 lbs) 14 rushes 51 yards (3.6 ypc), 8 receptions for 115 yards and 1 TD.Who watched the game and how did they use Pierre Thomas/Reggie Bush?Deuce McAllister and Aaron Stecker are still listed as RB2 and RB3 on the Saints depth chart. Stecker was placed on the inactive list prior to game 1. McAllister was listed as not playing since he missed some practice time in the week before the game. I'd love for Pierre Thomas to be part of the one-two punch with Bush and to forget about McAllister/Stecker but we may have to wait another week to see how McAllister/Stecker are used in game 2 before we'll know much more.
