Who is available and who are you targeting?
Pick Johnson up ASAP!!!!!In one of my 2 leagues I just picked up Desean Jackson. Chris Johnson is still out there too.
Briefly. He had a cramp.Didnt Johnson leave the game hurt?
Thanks for you contribution to the thread. What would we do without your expert analysis?whats up with league being able to pick up players when ever. doesn't anyone use the WW any more. must be yahoo leagues
and just what was your contribution to the thread.....it was a simple question, i personally will not play in leagues that don't use some sort of WW process. being able to pick guys up why the games are being played is yahooish.looking at the rosario kid and fasano if he is available. desean jackson is another. Thanks for you contribution to the thread. What would we do without your expert analysis?whats up with league being able to pick up players when ever. doesn't anyone use the WW any more. must be yahoo leagues
For sharks, this doesn't matter. They already have these guys in their lineups.and just what was your contribution to the thread.....it was a simple question, i personally will not play in leagues that don't use some sort of WW process. being able to pick guys up why the games are being played is yahooish.looking at the rosario kid and fasano if he is available. desean jackson is another. Thanks for you contribution to the thread. I'm sure it's yahoo. I play in a league with guys that live on the internet and in front of their Direct TV Sunday ticket...they will NOT vote to use waivers because they sit there and want to pick up the best WW guy immediately. It sucks for guys like me that don't have the time or access, but what can ya do?whats up with league being able to pick up players when ever. doesn't anyone use the WW any more. must be yahoo leagues

Might not be them refusing to vote for it, but rather refusing to have the league pay an additional $124.99 for the PLUS features that allow you to actually use normal waivers. I know one local league I'm in has used Yahoo since 2003...it's not the best obviously, but we're all used to the interface and we're not really cutthroat anyway. Upping the entry fee to $35+ to cover the added PLUS cost would push a few guys out - they're mostly playing to stay in touch with old college friends. We've talked about moving to a new site, but the majority feels comfortable with Yahoo and it's always easy to carry over settings from year-to-year...minimal work. There ARE workarounds in the free system, like having the Commish lock rosters on Sunday, etc., but you'd still have to do some added work to make a waiver system work. Not that it matters anyway. Vocal pro-waiver folks will always look down their noses condescendingly at non-waiver leagues, and never waste an opportunity to take a swipe at them - there's nothing that can be done about it. But it's my money, not theirs. *shrug* No skin off my back.As for the topic itself, most of the obvious ones have been mentioned already.I'm sure Bo Scaife, David Martin, and Robert Royal will be getting some interest from guys who didn't get a TE early.I'm sure it's yahoo. Fleaflicker (and formerly AOL) is free and has a ww system. Even has free live scoring. You don't have to pay to have a better site than Yahoo.Might not be them refusing to vote for it, but rather refusing to have the league pay an additional $124.99 for the PLUS features that allow you to actually use normal waivers. Are you saying this because of his performance or the number of shot he took?I think a lot of Matt Schaub owners will be targeting Sage Rosenfels
Classy thing to do considering Anderson stepped in and helped turn that team around last season, it's one thing to want Quinn to get a chanse to start but it's quite another to rip the current QB who played very solid last season and earned that starting job. What the latest from Cleveland on Anderson?I have no inside info...but I heard Kellen Sr at a golf tourney openly ripping the guy and saying that "we all want Brady" to be the QB.
I think the latest is that his receivers need to catch the ball. What the latest from Cleveland on Anderson?I have no inside info...but I heard Kellen Sr at a golf tourney openly ripping the guy and saying that "we all want Brady" to be the QB.
Exception: leagues with small rosters and short benches. For sharks, this doesn't matter. They already have these guys in their lineups.
I hope Cleveland does start Quinn just so he can be exposed as the wasted draft pick he is.Classy thing to do considering Anderson stepped in and helped turn that team around last season, it's one thing to want Quinn to get a chanse to start but it's quite another to rip the current QB who played very solid last season and earned that starting job. What the latest from Cleveland on Anderson?I have no inside info...but I heard Kellen Sr at a golf tourney openly ripping the guy and saying that "we all want Brady" to be the QB.
Didn't he also look inaccurate and a little panicked in the pocket?I think the latest is that his receivers need to catch the ball. What the latest from Cleveland on Anderson?I have no inside info...but I heard Kellen Sr at a golf tourney openly ripping the guy and saying that "we all want Brady" to be the QB.
He didn't look great, but he could have used a little more help.Didn't he also look inaccurate and a little panicked in the pocket?I think the latest is that his receivers need to catch the ball. What the latest from Cleveland on Anderson?I have no inside info...but I heard Kellen Sr at a golf tourney openly ripping the guy and saying that "we all want Brady" to be the QB.

THE NEWS
Coach Gary Kubiak said he considered pulling Matt Schaub for Sage Rosenfels, but only because Schaub took a hard hit on a sack, which was one of five racked up by the Steelers' defense, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Our View
Schaub completed 25-of-33 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown, but had two interceptions in the 38-17 loss. The Texans don't catch a break with a lighter match-up in Week 2 as they face the imposing Ravens, who shut down the Bengals Sunday.

yea, but these guys also make the panic cuts, and end up getting rid of guys based on one game, and end up regretting it later.I'm sure it's yahoo. Edwards was definitely rusty after missing so much practive. But the fact that he had two chances for TD's (the drop and the pass interference where Pacman tackled him before the ball got there) is a good sign for the weeks to come.He had no time to throw, and Edwards dropped EVERYTHING he threw to him.I know....I have EDWARDS.I didn't know the guy has a problem with the dropsies. But that was HORRIBLE yesterday. Dropped a sure TD bomb.Had dig routes where the ball was on the money....right through his hands. It was embarrassing.
McClain is a fullback. On the one hand, fullbacks are RARELY productive fantasy players (and it seems like every year there's one guy who puts up great numbers in week 1 only to disappear thereafter). But on the other hand, Rice was very disappointing.I wouldn't be surprised if Baltimore gave P.J. Daniels a look.McGahee owners should be looking at LeRon McClain. Ray Rice didn't look as impressive yesterday.
Very true, my bad. I am in a deep league and sometimes you get wrapped into what 'you' are dealing with.Exception: leagues with small rosters and short benches. For sharks, this doesn't matter. They already have these guys in their lineups.
You're correct. I didn't see the game and don't know much about McClain. I was just looking at the numbers for the game. I just looked at McClain bio, he's 6'0" and 260 pounds!. If McGahee misses time could Rice/McClain be a poor man's version of Bettis/Parker? Seems like McClain could be a good bet to get the goal line carries. They didn't have any goal line plays yesterday but McClain did get 4 of the 6 "second and one" and "third and one" calls.TommyGilmore said:McClain is a fullback. Me too. I have Heath Miller, but I could use another option at the position.anthony fasano
Second to TO... guess the best receivers suck too. :(20 dropped passes last seasonHe had no time to throw, and Edwards dropped EVERYTHING he threw to him.I know....I have EDWARDS.I didn't know the guy has a problem with the dropsies. But that was HORRIBLE yesterday. I think this Adrain Petersens kid could be a nice pickup if he's on your wire.
Yeah last post on the week 2 monday updates is the waiver wire look. One of the added features for paying for a year.nukdog12 said:is there anyway to compile one list instead of going through all of this?? do they have anything like this in the PAID feature?
