Didn't he also look inaccurate and a little panicked in the pocket?I think the latest is that his receivers need to catch the ball. What the latest from Cleveland on Anderson?I have no inside info...but I heard Kellen Sr at a golf tourney openly ripping the guy and saying that "we all want Brady" to be the QB.
I actually thought he looked pretty good. He was rushed more than usual and showed poise in the pocket. He hit his receivers in the hands. He looked like a better QB than he did last year and just didn't get the support this time. Just my humble opinion, but I do watch every single Browns game, and usually multiple times. He didn't look great, but he could have used a little more help.Didn't he also look inaccurate and a little panicked in the pocket?I think the latest is that his receivers need to catch the ball. What the latest from Cleveland on Anderson?I have no inside info...but I heard Kellen Sr at a golf tourney openly ripping the guy and saying that "we all want Brady" to be the QB.
wow, that's gotta be painful.i admire your devotion.I actually thought he looked pretty good. He was rushed more than usual and showed poise in the pocket. He hit his receivers in the hands. Cassel is sitting there, and unfortunately, I'm #1 on the WW after a rough week in a Dynasty. HOWEVER so is Favre (cut before the comeback)... not sure which way to go here. Either would be trade bait behind Romo/DNabb. Doubtful Cassel has ANY dynasty value as he'll be back to carrying the clipboard next summer.A few to consider:
QB
Cassel - No brainer
Pennington - you could do worse on a bye week depending on the match up
RB
S. Morris - lots of touches this weekend
D. Ward - looks like he really is the #2 and no way Jacobs is healthy all year
J. Norwood - should be on someones bench
T. Choice - If Barber III is going to be injured for sometime Tashard moves to the #2 back on a team with a great offense and OL.
WR.
B. Johnson - looked good after missing much time in preseason
M. Jones - looks like the #1 WR in JAx
TE
A. Fasano - Parcells loves TE's
and just what was your contribution to the thread.....it was a simple question, i personally will not play in leagues that don't use some sort of WW process. being able to pick guys up why the games are being played is yahooish.looking at the rosario kid and fasano if he is available. desean jackson is another. Thanks for you contribution to the thread. What would we do without your expert analysis?whats up with league being able to pick up players when ever. doesn't anyone use the WW any more. must be yahoo leagues
That wont happen (Daniels), Rice will get in sync with the line and looked pretty decent in the game. The only place in the football world were that opinion about RICE was written was here at FBG's in the game re-cap section., A rather thin read at best the last two years(yeah that's a shot), but I'm still paying for it if for entertainment purposes only. Ive watched years of RB's just having a bad game, a rookie having one is gonna happen. He ran hard and tried like hell to make something happen. He has got to be more patient and trust the line to have the holes opened up for him.Its not like the Highly touted DMAC had a monumental game yesterday.McClain is a fullback. On the one hand, fullbacks are RARELY productive fantasy players (and it seems like every year there's one guy who puts up great numbers in week 1 only to disappear thereafter). But on the other hand, Rice was very disappointing.I wouldn't be surprised if Baltimore gave P.J. Daniels a look.McGahee owners should be looking at LeRon McClain. Ray Rice didn't look as impressive yesterday.
Yeah, there are some pretty good WW WRs in my league...Eddie Royal, DeSean Jackson, Matt Jones, Deion BranchIs it possible that Eddie Royal has not been mentioned in this thread yet??
I've got him stashed on both my teams....and I'm a guppy. He may still be three weeks away from playing but wouldn't stashing Chris Henry (Bengals) on your bench be a shark move?
This is definitely the guppy move.I've got him stashed on both my teams....and I'm a guppy. He may still be three weeks away from playing but wouldn't stashing Chris Henry (Bengals) on your bench be a shark move?![]()
So what you're saying is that Chris Henry isn't worth rostering? I'm not in a league where the likes of Desean Jackson is available or you can pick up Eddie Royal during the game. Both were taken in the 192 players drafted and the WW priority is given by reverse order of standings week after week which priority claims are processed on Thursday at 11:00p.m. for three rounds. Thus the cupboard is bare and yes, players like Chris Henry and Deion Branch start to look good 2 to 3 weeks before their scheduled return. This is definitely the guppy move.I've got him stashed on both my teams....and I'm a guppy. He may still be three weeks away from playing but wouldn't stashing Chris Henry (Bengals) on your bench be a shark move?![]()
Especially if they're better than any other option on your bench. I fail to see the logic that this is a guppy move. You don't get points for bench players. So what you're saying is that Chris Henry isn't worth rostering? Lighten up ladies, it was just a joke.Grabbing Henry now is definitely a SHARK MOVEtm. Also, playing in ultra competitive 12 team leagues with super deep 16 man rosters and complicated Thursday night bassackward free agent ceremonies is a SHARK MOVEtm. Better?Especially if they're better than any other option on your bench. I fail to see the logic that this is a guppy move. Slightly!Better?
KWSr. is a gasbag living vicariously through his kid. He was a great player in his day but that day is over. He should stup up and play golf. What the latest from Cleveland on Anderson?I have no inside info...but I heard Kellen Sr at a golf tourney openly ripping the guy and saying that "we all want Brady" to be the QB.
Someone just paid over 90% of his BB$ for Sammy Morris this week.Sammy Morris anyone?
