Week 10 Defense (1 Viewer)

I pulled Miami off of the WW and am actually starting them over Pittsburgh. Well, I've got them in the line-up now anyway  Pittsburgh has been very good to me....I can't believe I'm doing this. But seriously, Miami should be a great start this week.

I'm starting the Jets D at home vs. the Rams who look like they'll be without SJax. Sitting the Ravens @ HOU.

I went with Miami off the wire in my league too (Cards, Texans, Jets not available) I picked them up to replace the Cowboys who are on bye. I may just keep the Fins on my roster since the Boys have been so disappointing this year. Miami seems to have been playing pretty decent defensively lately.

San Diego had been dropped in my league due to their underacheiving performance to date. I picked them up specifically for the matchup vs. Kansas City this week.

why would you do this, they can't stop anyone. don't be surprised if Thigpen throws for 250 and 2 v. that bad pass d.I picked up ARZ since I got TB on bye, and MIA in another league > Philly.

Okay, now you've got me second guessing myself, although I guess I'm just not that big of a believer in "Gettin Thiggy With It" just yet. Maybe I will go with Miami instead since they are still on the wire.

Pickup up the Jets if theyre available...

They have 9 sacks in the past two games & Bulger has been sacked 24 times in 7 games, 4th in the nfl. It might get ugly...

Well Thigpen has looked solid the last two games. Playing good against TB is something worthwhile imo.

Carolina take on the Raiders......
After what Atlanta's D did in Oakland last week Carolina is my choice for the week. Then I'll be watching the Lions offense closely this week as they travel to Carolina next week. Could be a good two week play.

In one league I am debating between Jaguars and Jets and currently have Jets in there. In my other league I picked up the Texans. Miami is still available...Panthers, Jets, Cards are not.

Lots of good choices out there, but Jacksonville seems like a value play with Culpepper coming off the street and their center probably out.

The Jets and Miami look good, too.

Panthers were taken in my league, TB on the bye, so I got Miami as well. Next week looks great for them as well. :lmao: :lmao:

B/c Cotrell was fired two weeks ago, and from what I have read, they get Jyles Tucker back from injury and the plan is to let Tucker, Castillo, Philips go-to-town.

The Dolphins are the best WW play this week and should be a good DTBC for the rest of the year. Great schedule.

:lmao:I used my priority waiver move on Mewelde (knee jerk owner after last week's game) instead of using it on Miami and was quite satisfied to see the Carolina D sitting there in FA.Let's keep in mind - what D is good on a given week is usually dependent on the scoring system. With Carolina and Miami, they should be incredible in leagues that reward low yardage - I think the Raiders had less than 150 yards of total offense last week.

I have the Bills, but now there are a few starters announced as not playing. Playing on the road against the Patriots, this isn't looking like a good matchup any more.

I'm thinking of picking up the Colts this week?

Has it been determined is Ben is playing, or is Byron? Also, is Sanders back for the Colts?

Maybe I'll just roll with the Bills?

 I have targeted and picked up Miami and Arizona for this week and the rest of the year, great schedule.

I'm seriously thinking about plugging in Maimai this week over the G-men. I have Westbrook and everytime he scores he hurts my (points based) G-men D.

After the complete obliteration last week of Oakland (100 yards total offense) by Atlanta and possibly Andrew Walter starting I'm not sure why Carolina is not ranked as a top defense this week unless its the home field magic in Oakland. Am I missing something?
