Go Tampa Bay, let's knock this thing down to 2. Amazing week. Other one I'm in with 630 people was knocked down to 4(possible 11) this week. I've never been this far. Geez this is nerve racking.

Yeah, with under 10 people that probably makes sense. I'll start a new thread this week that will last us for the remainder of the contest. I also have no idea how it was done before...I'm kind of winging this thing. Anybody have any clue what the criteria was for tiebreakers? I was thinking combined margin of victory would make sense...Also note that Joe B. has graciously ponied up a 2007 FBG subscription for the winner of this thing....The stakes are now ....well, I was gonna say high but $25 is not high. The stakes are now higher than they were.

Here's what I found:

TIEBREAKERS FOR WEEK 17 :

Survivors will play only the teams that haven't been used

The last week of the season you're going to use your pick for Week 17

Then you're gonna post the first tiebreaker, the team you think has the more possibilities to win also on Week 17 ( and you haven't played )... called " Team 18 "

Then you're gonna post the 2nd tiebreaker : " Team 19 "

Then you're gonna post the 3rd tiebreaker : " Team 20 "

Then you're gonna post the 4th tiebreaker : " Team 21 "

and so on.... you're going to continue posting tiebreakers until you run out of teams... you're going to use as many teams as possible

Survivors will start being eliminated as every tiebreaker is played, our pool will shrink until we have a winner

If after one of the tiebreakers everybody gets eliminated, then we'll use number of wins by your remaining teams as the last tiebreaker

I didn't see anything for a tiebreaker if everyone left goes out the same week. I'd imagine it would be a co-champion thing since neither picked correctly and both were eliminated.

In other SL's I have run if everyone is elim'd the same week all those elim'd are re-entered.

BTW - last year the tiebreaker was in week 17 you needed to give your pick for the week and then you needed to enter - in order - all your remaining teams

So it was

Week 17: Team x

Week 17 TieBreaker 1: team Y

Week 17 TieBreaker 2: team Z

Week 17 TieBreaker 3: team Z

etc....

I got knocked out with Jax's first blood bath & have been still paying attention but I want to say good job on keeping track of things ACP & kudo's to Joe for offering the free subscription to the winner....very cool. Not many sites would do that, if any.
