As a MIN def owner, Ive been picking up a new defense each of the last few weeks cuz they have had some rough matchups. Im still liking their playoff sched so Im holding onto them. But for this week I like NO vs STL

I'm not.edit psI wonder how many leagues still overlook detroit def?guess it all depends on format.I think sea should be an awesome one against the hapless niners.I initially thought new orleans would be solid against sucky st louis, but I think you can throw against new orleans, at least, and bulger will be throwing.what are the chances he puts up 20+ on 40 throws, while only chucking 1 pick and giving up a couple sacks?I'm on the fence.

Well, they were strong this week based on two TDs, of course, but even without the two scores they performed pretty well against what was not necessarily a "steamroller"-type matchup. They seem to be especially strong at home. They're going to give up the passing yards, which probably makes them far less desirable in some formats people here use, and you probably don't want them against GB for that reason, or the Vikings because of ADP's sudden superstatrdom, but I can't think why using them against the Cards wouldn't be a good start.

This is where I'm going this week. Ramsey has proven in the past to be fantasy gold if your D is playing against him.

Honesty, the way it's been going. I would start playing MIN now. They shut down a good Chargers offense this past week. I'm thinking about starting them against GB this weekend.
