WEEK 11- Told you so... (HOW I DID) (1 Viewer)

Footballguy
TB at ATL

The only RB worth looking at in this game plays for TB and his last name is Graham. I think he is a future stud in this league. Is this the game he explodes in? Maybe...

NE at BUF

NE- Maroney. But don't except a crazy amount of points, don't kid yourself this is a passing team now (or at least so far it has been...). Don't get me wrong he'll have a TD and a 100, but this is going to be a blow out. So that means old man Faulk we see lots of work in the second half.

BUF- They will have to pass every down just to stay within 35 points down... And even if it wasn't the Pats, I wouldn't start Marshawn Lynch or A-Train. Lynch is hurt, and A-Train is more like A-old man.

ARI at CIN

ARI- Edge. I think he has his best game of the season this week. A lot of people are going to hate, but you watch he'll get a 100 and a TD. If you going to start him this year, start him this week.

CIN- I don't care if you name is Rudi or that other guy. These guys suck. And I have to admit I thought Rudi was going to rock this year... man was I wrong.

WAS at DAL

DAL- MIII. I think MIII will of course get more points for you than Jones. Why do they waste there time with Jones? Bring on the haters...Doesn't the Dallas RBs remind you of JAXs RBs, one is so much better than the other. But the sorry one starts? Jones will of course cut into MIII carries, but not on the goaline where it counts. I think MIII gets you 2 TDs this week.

WAS- Portis will have his hands full with Big D, but I think trying to match points with the Boys is what hurts Portis' production this week. Portis maybe 70, but he will get a TD.

CAR at GB

GB- Grant, Grant, Grant. This kids is for real, and as long as him and Brett don't screw up the handoff he'll get you a 100 and a TD this game. But I "have a feeling" it's going to be so much more...

CAR- Both of De-whatevers on CAR are bad options. One's hurt, the other sucks...

KC at IND

Start: Addai. Enough said. I would hope since you drafted him in the first round, that you start him every game.

KC- They don't have a chance in this one. And even if they had LJ it wouldn't matter... Think about, Denver beat them! And we stink this year!

OAK at MIN

Who cares. The rookie is hurt. Okay Chester against OAK, but so what...

PIT at NYJ

PIT- Willie! Willie runs wild in this one. 100 and 1 td easy. And if Davenport hasn't been arrested yet, I think he get a TD also. Either one is a good start this week against the sorry Jets. I think I will explode if Davenport gets my TD again!

NYJ- Thomas Jones. Jones hasn't done anything this year, and he is sure not going to start this week!

MIA at PHI

MIA- Chatman. I think he is a top 5 RB this week, and don't understand why no ones believes it? He can run. Here's a bold prediction for you: 125 and 2 TDs. I think Chatman has his "coming out" party this week! Ronnie WHO????????

PHI- I think you also have to start Westbrook here too, if he plays. Because whether they are behind or not Westbrook will always get his 100 and TD.

SD at JAC

JAC- MoJo. MoJo doesn't get much on offense other than short goaline carry for a TD and maybe 80 yards. But, I have a feeling he is due for other kickoff return this week. Fragile Freddy gets his normal 20 carries for 60 yards... I hate this guy.

SD- I think LT runs all over these guys, with dumps passes and screen passes. JAXs D is very overrated I believe, and they will come back down to earth this week. LT gets 120 and 2 TDs.

CLE at BAL

CLE- Lewis. I can believe I am saying this, but the Ravens D just isn't the same D as last year. The brownies will own this one by the third quarter, and then it will be the Lewis show.

BAL- McGahee hee hee your funny if your actually starting him over someone else this week. They play from behind the whole game so he won't do much, and their passing game is just as funny.

NO at HOU

NO- I just don't see Bush doing anything in this one. But if you have him I realize you problaby have to start him. I guess expect the worse, and maybe get surprised?

HOU- Green is out. So it's all A. Johnson in this one!

STL at SF

STL- SJAX is back! I think he looks like his old self again, and it will look like everyone else is in slow motion. I hope your not playing again him this week. Because he goes crazy this week! 125 and 2 TDs.

SF- What can I say about Gore, expected BOOOOOOOOO. I know you drafted him early, so like I said with Bush, expect this worst, and maybe be surprised by 80 yards?

NYG at DET

NYG- Big J will run over and around the Lions all day. All lot of folks think DET has a D, I don't think so. Ward is still out, so the only thing we as Jacob owners have to worry about is Droughns! Get it to Jacobs on the goaline! PLEASE TOM!

DET- Going to be a long day for K. Jones, but he will get his chances around the goaline because of the G-mens secondary. He'll maybe get 60 yards and a TD.

CHI at SEA

CHI- All I can say is that I am tired of wasting my time with Cedric Sucks.

SEA- I actually think Morris is the future for this team, and has a great game this week. As long as he can hold on to the ball, I expect good things, this week and in the future. But it is still CHI, 80 yards and a TD.

TEN at DEN

TEN- I think Shanny stacks the box this week against TEN, and dares them to pass. So I don't see alot coming from the TEN RBs. If you have a TEN RB, it might be time to look else where.

DEN- I think Travis starts this week, but gets hurt quickly. Then it's Young the rest of the way with a good game. If you can guess which one get the carries your the man, but all I have to say is I feel sorry for you if drafted a Bronco RB. Because you never know...

Anyway, I told you so...

HOU- I think Green has a great week 11! I think they will have A. Johnson back this week, so that does nothing but help Green's chances to find the endzone. Start him! 100 and TD at least this week!
the Oak/Min comment made me :lmao:

A wk 11 RB thread and just because ADP is out, you don't think it's worth mentioning what

a great start Chester Taylor is against Oakland.

And then you say what a great start Ahman Green is when he was declared OUT already.

Then I stopped reading.

solid work.

IS THIS A JOKE ??1st) Ravens Rush D is the 2nd in the league

2nd) Jamal Lewis sucks (2.9 ypc in the last 6 games)

You think you have to start westbrook if he plays? He's only the best fantasy running back in pretty much any format having a dream matchup against one of the worst run defenses. Real good information I think I'll start him now. Yeah he was questionable with a knee injury against the lions too and he put up a 45 spot. That was only in 2 in a half quaters.

A blowout means more Faulk in 2nd half? Ok.

I think i rather use my Magic 8 Ball then these projections. I stopped caring when "the rookie's out.. taylor's in"... prob one of the best starts this week. Taylor has alot to prove since he's stopped getting the carries... right now he is battling for a job maybe somewhere else next year in a possible trade. Not only that, he's playing one of the worst run defenses in the league... he looks like a top 3 start to me... not a eh he's in.

Graham owners will be disappointed this week. Dunn should get solid RB2 numbers. And then you went downhill from there.

You had me at Week 11 - RB Breakdown...

You lost me at future stud.

Since I am starting both Chatman and Grant this week...I hope you are very right on those guys! If so, I will happily read your thread again next week...

all you're telling me is don't read this thread next week.

Sorry man, this one is weak. I've got multiple issues....

Graham a future stud? Ummmmm, nah

Oak at Minn who cares? Those that have Chester, that's who. Dude goes for 100+ and a TD. That's worth mentioning. Not to mention Fargas's potential. I mean MINN didn't exactly look good against Ryan Grant last week.

No mention of Priest?

Bush can't do anything against Houston?

Travis Henry starts this week but gets hurt early? He's already hurt. Torn PCL sound familiar?

:pileon:

You lost me at "Graham may break out this week"

I think his week 7 191 yd/13 reception game might qualify as his breakout. Maybe you mean to say "break out again"???

I wasn't going to comment, bringing the thread back to the top of the page... hoping that it would just slide off into obscurity - but now that it's at the top of page one again...

Come on people. I know that old "if you don't have anything nice to say" bit gets tiresome, especially if you never have anything nice or at least constructive to say - we get it. A bunch of folks don't love this post about RBs. You're just making some poor person feel bad now and making zero contribution to the site.

Thanks for all the input everyone. It's funny to me how many people love to bash, very entertaining though. Hey, that's cool everyone has an opinion, and my comments are no different. I have never been good at making "vanilla" picks, so get strong opinions, but hey that's football and that's sports. I certainly do not claim to be an expert, and if you think about, who is actually right all the time (maybe so of you, but not me...)? But I guess we will see how much I was much of my picks where as someone put "picks from the short bus". That's was pretty funny I guess, if you enjoy bashing kids.

Good luck to everyone on Sunday, and yes even the haters...

peace...

I, for one, found this thread enjoyable.

I also sometimes draw pictures in my "safe room" with my own poop.

j/k...for all the haters, post your own bold predictions that aren't just a cut and paste from 100 other sites. Dude is trying his hand at writing and analysis.

A lot of you are trying your hand at heckling.

I prefer the former to the latter because with the former there is at least a chance of wisdom.

The comments in this thread are great.

As for not having anything nice to say... it would be different if he at least took the time to research some of this stuff. Some of these predictions are way off. And didn't even realize Ahman Green was out.

There is a good smell in the building. I think that this thread is looking better and better each time around. I'm encouraged with the poise and confidence it shows as it matures. These are all signs of progress.Mike Nolan

Dear JC Dude:When you post a breakdown and titled it as you did, you're "publishing" your expert opinion. Everyone knows that public figures are scrutinized, so if you are going to put yourself in that position, don't cry when you get negative responces. Use them and improve. You've got some good opinions, but it almost looks like you tried too hard to be too bold in some cases. You are right about one thing though...it's hard to tell the cyber bullies from honest critics sometimes. I'll be looking out for your next "Told you so..."War Eagle!

I will be  if he's right on most of these......and I'll be the first to bump him back up....play nice, guys - he was just giving his opinions which we are all allowed to do.....

I will be  if he's right on most of these......and I'll be the first to bump him back up....play nice, guys - he was just giving his opinions which we are all allowed to do.....
its not so much the predictions, its the commentary that is way off.

I will be  if he's right on most of these......and I'll be the first to bump him back up....play nice, guys - he was just giving his opinions which we are all allowed to do.....
he's NAILED Earnest Graham, this guy is playing like a stud RB, and with Caddy out until at least mid-2008, we'll see plenty more E.G. between now and then! :bag:

Bring on the haters...Doesn't the Dallas RBs remind you of JAXs RBs, one is so much better than the other. But the sorry one starts? Jones will of course cut into MIII carries, but not on the goaline where it counts. I think MIII gets you 2 TDs this week.

MIII 15 for 43. Was anyone else blown away by how good this game was? I was way off on this one!

WAS- Portis will have his hands full with Big D, but I think trying to match points with the Boys is what hurts Portis' production this week. Portis maybe 70, but he will get a TD.

Portis 12 for 36. The Skins trying to match points really did hurt him.

CAR at GB

GB- Grant, Grant, Grant. This kids is for real, and as long as him and Brett don't screw up the handoff he'll get you a 100 and a TD this game. But I "have a feeling" it's going to be so much more...

Grant 20 for 88. Maybe next game...

CAR- Both of De-whatevers on CAR are bad options. One's hurt, the other sucks...

Foster 20 for 87. Williams 6 for 22. I guess even Foster has a good game sometimes.

KC at IND

Start: Addai. Enough said. I would hope since you drafted him in the first round, that you start him every game.

Addai 21 for 72 and 1 TD. Why did I draft Parker over him?

KC- They don't have a chance in this one. And even if they had LJ it wouldn't matter... Think about, Denver beat them! And we stink this year!

Holmes 19 for 55. I hope this continues, because I own BOWE!

OAK at MIN

Who cares. The rookie is hurt. Okay Chester against OAK, but so what...

Taylor 22 for 164 and 3 TDs. 3 TDS! Okay I should quit my Taylor bashing! And maybe I should care about every game! OOPS!!!!!!!!!! Fargas 22 for 60. He did more than thought against MIN.

PIT at NYJ

PIT- Willie! Willie runs wild in this one. 100 and 1 td easy. And if Davenport hasn't been arrested yet, I think he get a TD also. Either one is a good start this week against the sorry Jets. I think I will explode if Davenport gets my TD again!

Parker 21 for 52. Why can't Parker run against sorry teams? I am really hating myself for drafting him over Addai!

NYJ- Thomas Jones. Jones hasn't done anything this year, and he is sure not going to start this week!

Jones 30 for 117. Okay, I thought this was one of my only "safe" predictions, what the heck happened to PIT!

MIA at PHI

MIA- Chatman. I think he is a top 5 RB this week, and don't understand why no ones believes it? He can run. Here's a bold prediction for you: 125 and 2 TDs. I think Chatman has his "coming out" party this week! Ronnie WHO????????

Chatman 22 for 72. If he had only found the enzone...

PHI- I think you also have to start Westbrook here too, if he plays. Because whether they are behind or not Westbrook will always get his 100 and TD.

Westbrook 32 for 148. How does a person run for 148, and get a TD?

SD at JAC

JAC- MoJo. MoJo doesn't get much on offense other than short goaline carry for a TD and maybe 80 yards. But, I have a feeling he is due for other kickoff return this week. Fragile Freddy gets his normal 20 carries for 60 yards... I hate this guy.

MOJO 12 for 33 and 1 TD. I would have to say I was pretty close on this one if you take away that kickoff crazy talk...

SD- I think LT runs all over these guys, with dumps passes and screen passes. JAXs D is very overrated I believe, and they will come back down to earth this week. LT gets 120 and 2 TDs.

LT 16 for 62 and 1 TD. Wrong about this one... But at least the O still goes through LT.

CLE at BAL

CLE- Lewis. I can believe I am saying this, but the Ravens D just isn't the same D as last year. The brownies will own this one by the third quarter, and then it will be the Lewis show.

Lewis 22 for 92 and 1 TD. I knew he was going to have a good game against his old team. And I still don't see anything special about the Ravens D.

BAL- McGahee hee hee your funny if your actually starting him over someone else this week. They play from behind the whole game so he won't do much, and their passing game is just as funny.

McGahee 21 for 102 and 1 TD. I didn't expect this, but oh well...

NO at HOU

NO- I just don't see Bush doing anything in this one. But if you have him I realize you problaby have to start him. I guess expect the worse, and maybe get surprised?

Bush 15 for 34. Told you so...

HOU- Green is out. So it's all A. Johnson in this one!

Johnson 6 for 120 and 1 TD. Told you so...

STL at SF

STL- SJAX is back! I think he looks like his old self again, and it will look like everyone else is in slow motion. I hope your not playing again him this week. Because he goes crazy this week! 125 and 2 TDs.

SJAX 23 for 92. I am puzzled???????

SF- What can I say about Gore, expected BOOOOOOOOO. I know you drafted him early, so like I said with Bush, expect this worst, and maybe be surprised by 80 yards?

Gore 15 for 32. Told you so...

NYG at DET

NYG- Big J will run over and around the Lions all day. All lot of folks think DET has a D, I don't think so. Ward is still out, so the only thing we as Jacob owners have to worry about is Droughns! Get it to Jacobs on the goaline! PLEASE TOM!

Big J 11 for 54. Everything was looking good until he got hurt AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DET- Going to be a long day for K. Jones, but he will get his chances around the goaline because of the G-mens secondary. He'll maybe get 60 yards and a TD.

KJ 11 for 25. I thought at least a TB, but I was wrong... That foot is still jacked up I guess.

CHI at SEA

CHI- All I can say is that I am tired of wasting my time with Cedric Sucks.

Cedric 11 for 89 and 1 TD. Of course as soon as I sit him, he plays a good game. I am still not convinced though, he still sucks!!!!!!

SEA- I actually think Morris is the future for this team, and has a great game this week. As long as he can hold on to the ball, I expect good things, this week and in the future. But it is still CHI, 80 yards and a TD.

Morris 18 for 87 and 1 TD. Told you so... I was only 7 yards off...

TEN at DEN

TEN- I think Shanny stacks the box this week against TEN, and dares them to pass. So I don't see alot coming from the TEN RBs. If you have a TEN RB, it might be time to look else where.

White 13 for 42. Told you so...

DEN- I think Travis starts this week, but gets hurt quickly. Then it's Young the rest of the way with a good game. If you can guess which one get the carries your the man, but all I have to say is I feel sorry for you if drafted a Bronco RB. Because you never know...

Young and Henry. Like I said I feel sorry for you if you drafted a DEN RB.

TB at ATLThe only RB worth looking at in this game plays for TB and his last name is Graham. I think he is a future stud in this league. Is this the game he explodes in? Maybe...
Graham owners will be disappointed this week. Dunn should get solid RB2 numbers. And then you went downhill from there.
Well, I suppose I have to take my medicine. I really didn't expect Petrino/Leftwich to drag us that far down in the gutter, which is the only reason Graham got those kind of numbers. If I were the ATL D, I'd have given up too after watching that God-awful performance by the offense.

You left off Reggie Bush's 12 catches in your "I told you so" - I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you don't play in a PPR league - but if that is the case then the expectations for Bush should be lowered considerably for each game. If you do play in a PPR league you had to be happy with the 20+ points he gave you.

Addai 21 for 72 and 1 TD. Why did I draft Parker over him?
Maybe you listen to The Audible? Entertaining guys, but they killed a lot of fantasy teams with that call this year . . .
I have to admit, when I drafted 5th, I was considering Addai, Gore, and Parker. Glad I took Addai. Also, good posting theJCdude, I'm glad you came back to defend your picks right or wrong. I like MoP's RB thread every week, but I also like to see other people's opinions too. Keep it up, and don't let the bashers get you down.
