Hard to believe any of the players mentioned in this thread are on the waiver wire. Must be guppy leagues who don't listen to the audible waiver wire podcast. Thanks to Bloom for the heads up on Edelman and Sanu!
You are a guppy if you have to listen to others on how to run your team. Champs make the path not follow it.
When you get paid $$$ to offer advice and make a nice living at it like the FBG's, come back and talk to me about it. Till then you are no position to be calling anyone a guppy.
You are all guppies. There is only one true shark.
yeah and he couldnt even handle chris everett.

Oh, well sorry dude. Point me to the free agent WR that gets 7+ targets every week so I can add him.

This made me laugh out loud....good one and thanks for the coffee stain on the shirt.

He does have a sharp line of golf shirts though.

If he's still available (although I doubt it) or gets dropped after his -1 point performance, pick up Jonathan Dwyer.http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8682743/jonathan-dwyer-pittsburgh-steelers-start-rb-mike-tomlin

Jonathan Dwyer will start at running back Sunday when the Pittsburgh Steelers face the Ravens in Baltimore, coach Mike Tomlin announced Tuesday.Tomlin cited Dwyer's consistency as the reason he officially has been named the starter. The coach said Dwyer also is the Steelers' healthiest running back at the position."He's been consistently the most productive guy. I think we have a large enough body of work to be able to identify that at this point," Tomlin said. "Obviously, we've been working at less than ideal circumstances with the rotation and the shuffling of those guys due to health and lack of production. But over the course of the last several weeks, it's obvious that he is healthy and he is the most productive of the group."
For anyone still in the race and in need of RB/FLEX depth, Dwyer might be worth an add or trade. Next week is the perfect matchup (division rival, away game, must win, suspect run defense) for Dwyer to seize control of the starting job for the remainder of the season. If he can get into a rhythm (i.e. if Tomlin can tone the RBBC down a bit) and keep the ball off the ground and if Big Ben plays, I say he succeeds in doing just that.

Vereen - double digit carries both of the last two weeks. Explosive, making plays, and the goal line back.
Vereen does look good, but I wouldn't call him the goal line back. He's vultured a few from Ridley, but Ridley is not automatically pulled at the stripe.
Maybe not automatically, but he has gotten pulled for Vereen at the stripe. With how dynamic Vereen is looking lately, I think they will keep looking for additional ways to get him involved.

I bet there are a lot of leagues in which Rashad Jennings and DeAngelo Williams are on the wire-- and both are now #1 on their respective depth charts. I take Williams over Jennings based on talent and schedule, though of course Cam Newton is likely to cut into DeAW's upside.
