week 13 ww def and possible playoff def (1 Viewer)

anyone notice FBG has NYJ as the #1 DEF this week?
Az and Lindley are that bad. Like epic bad. They are trying to see if they can rush Kolb back. Say what you want about the guy, they were 4-0 with Kolb, 0-7 since.
.. Kolb was QB the Thursday night game in St. Louis, when the Rams sacked 'em nine times ... and a loss.

Still better than Linds, of course

4-1. My bad. Still miles ahead of Skelton or Lindley.

I picked up the Jets for this week only and am playing them over the Broncos and Steelers. If I win I get the bye, so don't mind carrying 3 defenses for a week. With AZ's starting center out and Lindley in place this has all the makings of a bloodbath. Risk, but one I'm comfortable taking. Would love to see 2 TD's out of the Jets D...

I agree with the Jets, this week they are absolute gold and from here on out they aren't a bad play at all. Only risk is that the team might just roll over and get blown out down the stretch. If they play hard this week then I'm probably going to hold. The Cardinals are the best D/ST matchup right now.

got the jets with gb going forward. if gb cannot get Matthews and or Woodson back on the field soon, i am rolling with the jets going forward. unless someone drops a better def of course

Personally, I've stashed:

DALLAS DST for this WEEK 13 (no Vick or DJax w/Phil giving up most FF points to opposing DST's & scored 26 FF points week 10 @ Phil) and...

CLEVELAND DST for WEEK 14 vs KC.

Grabbed Clev also to go with the JEts for next week. Just in case Jax shows more signs of life on offense with Henne.

Was planning on starting the Jets but now considering the Bills if Shorts AND Blackmon are out. Henne has looked serviceable but without those two and Spurlock being cut, it could be 4th string receivers out there with a 3rd string RB basically (I thought Parmele looked better than Jennings).

How are people viewing Oakland at home vs KC in week 15?

Movable object meets resistable force?

Or does Oakland repeat their one good defensive game of the year, week 8 - 14 points at KC?

Well I played Seattle's D all year and a few weeks ago I picked up Dallas D because of the two matchups they had with Philly. Dallas D is in my lineup this week of course but I'm debating dropping them to pick up Cincy's D. I clinched a playoff spot and it looks like i'll have a first round bye next week. I'm nervous about how Seattle's D will look after these suspensions and Cincy plays Philly in week 15. Waivers close at noon tomorrow so I can't keep Dallas this week and pick up Cincy after tomorrow's game. I would be downgrading a little for this week (although I like Cincy's D at SD). But it's hard to pass up Cincy in week 15 and it would be risky to depend on Seattle in the playoffs.

Still debating though.

I would go with the red blouse.

I am Daryll (sp?) but everything's "weird" now so I think I'm going with the Cowboy D...not a bad choice either way. As far as Car D, I think it's going to be hard to picture/forecast how that game's going to go. IMO the Car D is still a pretty solid option....

Really watching the jets performance this week vs the depleted arz off. If they can't score well here, I don't care what the rest of their schedule looks like

I am thinking about picking up Ten tonight. I know they won't be there Tuesday night (for me anyway). But I'm not totally sold.

Going with the Bills at home in the wind vs Jac - they have an improved pass rush in the last two weeks as well.

I'm rolling with the Bengals this week vs SD...not the greatest matchup, but I am also getting the WK 15 matchup for the Bengals @Phi.

Others that interest me for week 15:

Ten vs Jets

Det @ Arz

I've been playing the rotating D all year, seems to have caught on in my league too. So some pretty top scoring defenses become available as people chase the match-ups. What are some of the defenses that are beyond just match-up starts and one you want to keep and start almost all weeks regardless of juicy match-ups by others?

San Fran

Chicago

Who else?

That's it. They're the only 2 I would keep regardless of matchup.

I just stockpiled some D's... Jets this week, Seattle hosting Tenn is coming up as well as Miami hosting Jax, if I make the SB I have one in mind but can't disclose it on here just in case, lol

With a reported Monsoon in Oakland today, I think I'm gonna roll out the Cleveland Browns over the Packers. We don't get negatives for high points allowed in this league, so you're really just banking on sacks/turnovers/tds.

Carson Palmer + Monsoon = #### Sandwich

Right there with you. But I do have the Bengals as well..and think their matchup could be just as good.

Me too - got both Cincinnati and Cleveland - have them neck and neck. Rolling with The Browns this week and most likely next week too! Yep, a waiver wire pick up :)

Anybody thinking about picking up the Lions D. Hear me out on this but I think they could produce allot of points, especially in a non pt's allowed format. (Sacks/2, Int/2, FF/2, Defensive TD / 6)

Week 13: Colts (Luck has been pretty bad on the road)

Week 14: Packers (Their Oline is in shambles right now. Last matchup the Lions got 6 sacks = 12 Fantasy Pts)

Week 15: Arizona (This is the matchup that will put you on your way to the championship)

Week 16: Falcons (They have the division wrapped up. 2nd stringers?)

Am I reaching to deep in the wire or does this sound like a good strategy?
