Week 14 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

Was going to bench Aaron Rodgers for Alex Smith, but couldn't pull the trigger. Never bench your starters right? :-)

Rodgers is killing me...why does he choose this week to have his worse week so far??? Did I mention fumbles are -4 Points?!?!?!?! I did bench Driver 15 minutes before the game started. Just had a bad feeling...should have gone with it!

 
ARRRRGGGGHHH! I ran into Brandon Marshall in both my playoff games today!! 17 receptions and counting, both are PPR leagues!

Against him in 3 leagues for playoff games.One of those against him and AJ, another him and Rice. Looks like 3 playoff loses for me.
 
I have Ryan Grant, Ray Rice, Andre Johnson and Chad Ochocinco...and I'm losing! Opposition has Brandon Marshall, Dallas Clark and Marques Colston. Starting Roethlisberger at QB could be my downfall...4 points in our scoring system. Ugh.

 
thank you randy moss and reggie wayne. at least in wayne's case i could see it coming and started holmes over him but I didn't have the guts to bench moss for DJax.

 
Well, I'll complete the recent trifecta---I had Wayne and Driver, and they totaled what? 50 or so yds between them and no touchdowns? That is about 100 yds fewer than the combined footballguys projection. Nice to know Manning could locate Dallas Clark when needed.

Also, had the Seattle defense looked into the possibility of covering Andre Johnson? I know Mora Junior is a defensive-type coach. Maybe Holmgren ought to come back to point out to Mora Junior who the main pass receiver target for Houston would be.

If Randy Moss is utterly shut down by the Panthers, but Andre J has his way with the Seattle secondary by halftime, not much makes sense anymore.

 
I left Moats, Faulk, and Snelling on my bench and played Bess, Moss, and Greene. Huge bust for me, I'm down by over 70 points now.

 
Up against Schaub, AJ, Grant, Clark, and Mason. Will lose despite likely being the second highest scoring team this week. All this after being second highest scoring team this season but falling into wild-card round because lost division to highest scoring team in last week of regular season.

 
I am going to lose to the 7th seed. One of the biggest components - Thomas Jones - was a player I traded him back in week 7.

The players I traded him for - Forte - is now a benchwarmer.

Here's hoping McNabb lays an egg so I have a fighting chance with Gore and some IDPS...ain't looking pretty.

PS - Jennings had a td that was called back. Not a big fan of that play.

Added Ganther this week, had him in at flex, read some BS by Mora how Forsett was going to have a larger role in this game, so went with Forsett. PPR Forsett 11.30 Ganther 24.30 and counting

Just played myself out of a playoff win

Start Scheffler 0 Bench Carlson - TD

Start M Sims Walker 0 Bench V Jackson - 120 yd

Start Harrison 1 Bench Hightower - TBD

I'm still up 12 but he has V Davis and Gore.

won my game...problem is...if team C wins, im out the playoffs, if team C loses, i am in

team C has mcnabb, eagles D, boss

yea so im basically not making the playoffs...#@#@

took a 1-4 team over...went 7-6-1 overall

Same here. Had Schaub, Rice, and Charles rolling for the 1pm games. Opponent had CJ and Quinton freaking Ganther for the 4pm games. My comfortable 70 point lead is down to 10, and he has Maclin playing. PPR.
 
Everyone who carried me to the playoffs took the week off...Rodgers, Moss, Garcon

Still can pull the W with a strong week by Vernon Davis though

I hear ya... One league I played against those 2 topped on with Chris Johnson; those 3 scored 148 of my opponents 277. However I have a chance. Another league is 16 teams and the owner had no choice but to play Reggie Bush who happened to show up today for 2 TDsBut i killed myself in this one w/ Bradshaw and 2 high scoring CBs on my bench

PHI vs. NYG... down 12 at kickoff... PPR league... McNabb and McCoy going against Akers for the first round playoff win... and Vick/Reid are sucking the life out of me!

 
I sharted in public earlier today. But because I was at Wal-Mart I didn't feel so bad.

I started Michael Clayton in my big-money league today, so I felt bad about that, but she (my opponent and best friend's wife) started Randy Moss and Antonio Bryant today, so I have a comfortable 45.29 point lead on her. I'm going to poke her on facebook in a little bit. My way of saying "I beat you and you'll take it like a woman, woman."
