I've been utterly amazed, for years now, that TEN hasn't been able or hasn't tried to involve CJ in the passing game.Pretty much all my season long studs let me down:
Rivers - A subpar performance vs the Bungles? Didn't know that was possible. Thank God for the late TD to salvage what would have been a horrendous game.
CJ3 - When the 1st score update I saw was 17-0 KC, I knew I was screwed here. It's absolutely amazing to me that, save for a few games each year, TEN flat-out refuses to use him in the passing game. Don't tell me he can't catch, the guy was a WR in college for awhile. Run a damn screen pass or design some freaking plays for him, you idiots.
Hillis - 40 yds?!? Knew I should've sat him but didn't trust my other options at all (Addai coming off a 2 month absence, or a gimpy Ivory). Worst game he's had all year, while Addai scores and Ivory probably will if he plays.
Wayne - 40 yds while every other Indy receiver scores, ugh. Screw you Asom-hole!
DJ Williams - 4 measly tackles? None in the 2nd half. Wesley Woodyard outperforms you? What the hell?
TJ Ward - #1 tackler by far amongst defensive rookies manages a lousy 2 vs BAL? Worst game of the year for him.
Amazingly still alive thanks to Austin, Tampa Mike, Tamme and Mathis but still to face Webb, McCoy, and Abraham. Hoping Brett gets healthy real soon...

Man I just saw that this morning on ESPN. That was WEAK. He could have dived forward into the endzone and at worst taken a helmet to the hip..That made me question his toughness and might hasten my trading him in my dynasty league before he drops off.shader said:Manning sliding at the 4 instead of running it in really angers me. I'm still in it, but that didn't help.
Not a good start for you.Hillis, DBrown, BMW, PManning, (heavy penalties for picks). Still with a shot to win though. Up by 17 with McCoy still to play against Roddy, Hartley, and Webb.
Not sure if my mother in law heard "####'# CHRIS JOHNSON #### ### ####### ###!!!!!!!!"I didn't mean to say it out loud. The curse of too many touches.Amused to Death said:Chris Johnson![]()
HUH, Manning slide to give OAK zero chance of a comeback. Had he scored sure the Colts would have won 99.9 of the time but because he slid and did not score the Colts could just sit on the ball and end the game without a chance to lose. Westbrooke did it a couple of years ago vs Dallas. It is a smart play and nothing to do with Manning not wanting to take a hit.Man I just saw that this morning on ESPN. That was WEAK. I think there are enough Turner owners here to fill up all the seats.Don't mind me, just setting up some extra chairs for all the Colston owners who'll be here in another hour or two.
Manning sliding or scoring would give the Colts a 99.99% chance of winning. I understand why he slid, but in that case, he could have scored and not given the Raiders any better of a chance of winning.HUH, Manning slide to give OAK zero chance of a comeback. Didn't turn out too bad. I'm down by 1.5 going into tomorrow's game. Not a good start for you.Hillis, DBrown, BMW, PManning, (heavy penalties for picks). Still with a shot to win though. Up by 17 with McCoy still to play against Roddy, Hartley, and Webb.
I had a 37.3 point lead with Turner and now have a 40.1 lead and my opponent has Vick/Maclin. I'm so ticked myself, especially when he fumbled at the 1 yard line but what can you do. I'm glad Atlanta lost, they didn't block worth a crap last night.I think Turner is the most one dimensional elite back in the league. Atlanta is almost at a disadvantage with him in there to be honest. The guy isn't involved in the passing game at all. Teams shouldn't even cover him because he's not going to get the ball. He's pretty good at pass protection but that's about it. I guy like Pierre Thomas is much more of a flexible player, someone who's involved in all phases and gets goaline carries. Against teams like Seattle or even Tampa Bay that can't stop Atlanta from bowling over them, Turner is a beast in that format. Put him up against the Saints or Ravens where you can't run over them, he's terrible because he can't do anything else.I was hoping Michael Turner would have a decent game last night to pad my 9 pt lead in the championship game. My opponent has Vick going tonight. Turner.....YOU SUCK!!!!Other notable underachievers...Chris Johnson (with Pierre Thomas on my bench)Vincent Jackson (with Kenny Britt on my bench)Dallas DFantasy football can be a real SOB...
