Week 2 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

What's up with Roddy White? Drafted him in 2 leagues in the first round as my stud WR1. Now has 84 yards and 1 td thru 2 weeks. CBS sports fantasy analysis says he has a good matchup against the Bucs in week 3 and consider him no less than a WR2 option. He's supposed to be one of the leagues best WR 1 options in PPR leagues!! Is this what its come to. He's a WR2 option when he has good matchups?

I'm 0-2 and lost 84 to 73 in week 1 and 121 to 119 in week 2 (4th highest score out of 14 teams). Very easily could be 2-0.

a) Missed out on Matt Stafford by one pick. Cost me 19 points in week 1 and 21 points in week 2.

b) With the 4th overall pick debated between Chris Johnson and Ray Rice. Rice would have given me 21 more points in week 1 and 10 more points in week 2.

c) Read into the hype and started Lance Kendricks over Aaron Hernandez in week 1. An 18 point swing.

d) In week 2 started Chris Johnson and DeAngelo Williams at RB with Javon Ringer (3 more points) and Jonathan Stewart (9 more points) on my bench.

e) In week 2 Atanta stops Philly on 4th down inside the 10 setting up a field goal for my kicker, Henery. However an offsides penalty give the Eagles a first down and leads to a TD pass for my opponents QB, Michael Vick. An 8 point swing.

On top of that after week one, I cut Denarius Moore to pick up Chad Henne. Moore has a zero in week 1 and then goes 5 for 146 and a TD after I cut him.

I played the best team in our league this week with one arm tied behind my back. Missing my LB1 (Beason), DB2 (Berry) & WR1 (Dez) all to injury.

At least Dez isn't done for the year.

I had to play waiver wire pickups on defense and Johnny Knox on offense. :confetti:

Needless to say, I got handled despite big games from Stafford and Hillis.

:ptts: :ptts: :ptts: :ptts: :ptts: On top of that: :ptts:

down 22 pts I only have nicks or hixon left and opp has bradford

I picked up Fred davis and Eric Decker last week but played Gates and Meachem over these two ARG!!!!!

I also started J Charles over Starks (at least I have Starks and Fred Jackson going forward and I have D Murray)

In my money league I went up against Andre Johnson, Stevie Johnson, Michael Turner, Matt Forte, Rob Gronkowski, and Peyton Hillis.

Meanwhile, on my team, Jamaal Charles is knocked out. By the time I found out Brandon Lloyd would not play, all my bench players were already playing and thus could not be moved into that spot, so I had to pick up someone from the scrap heap who wasn't playing in one of the early games. Best option available - Ted Ginn Jr. (At least I didn't get negative points from him!)

Oh sure I can still win this week. All that has to happen is that Manningham needs to get 200 yards and 3 TDs....

More likely...0-2 and battling for the basement! :ptts: :ptts: :bag:

I'm 2nd overall in points and am 0-2.
I feel ya'.... Last year through the first 2 months, I was 3rd in pts (only 7 measly pts behind 2nd) but started 0-8!!!! Hope things turn around for you, but based on my experience, having a good team doesn't mean #### sometimes

Looks like I'm going to somehow pull out the victory, but two people really disappointed me.

1. Felix Jones - He is on my bench in favor of Fred Jackson (and possibly Daniel Thomas) until he can show me a little more.

2. Jermaine Gresham - I was really patting myself on the back for waiting on tight end and taking Gresham and Olsen last week. Yesterday, they both had horrible numbers and I'm worried about my future at TE. As a Panthers fan, I am aware that Olsen was asked to block more than he normally will, because of Jeff Otah's injury...but I have no clue what happened with Gresham.

My team sucks. Rivers, Foster, Mendy, Wayne, Lance Moore, Vernon Davis. At least I lost by 60. Prefer that to coming up 1 pt short.I think.
I'd agree with you. I have a lot of those same guys--Foster, Moore, Davis--and still have almost won the past two weeks because of some McFadden heroics. Losing by 5 each week--and missing a DMC touchdown by 1 foot in week 1, and a Tolbert TD by half a yard in week 2--has already made this the most agonizing fantasy season I've ever had. 30 inches have been the difference between 2-0 and 0-2.

I always avoided DeAngelo Williams in every draft until this year when I backed up the truck. And of course this is the first year I avoid Steve Smith CAR.
well what did we learn today Twin Turbo, We learned that you made twin F ups. Not your day. I did have JC in about 4 dynasty 1 redraft and now my stable looks like thisBest, Ingram, Mcgahee,,, ppr Mwallace and AJ green and brees / jgraham have to step up for me. Sucks losing JC he was such a great and fun Back to watch,

Mario Manninghams stone hands led to a cuncussion, leaving me 1.5 points short of a w. Literally no one touched him, and he hurt himself diving to the ground to try to catch the wide open td pass he dropped. **** me I hate this guy.

I deserved to lose, but another week here I face a top 3 scorer in two of my leagues (I'm normally among them).

Never get the easy wins...

Lost Charles. :(

Played v Jordy "1 catch, 84 Yards TD" Nelson. :(

Started Decker in place of Dez. :)

Scored 2nd most points this week and lost by 1 as NYG Def came up just short in MNF. :( (WHY DO YOU PUNT DOWN 12 WITH 1:30 LEFT???) :(

Now #2 in points in my league, and 0-2. :(

i had Bradford and my opponent had Caddy. Dopey Caddy lets the screen play bounce off his body and looks around as Boley picks up the ball and scores for the Giants. CBS scored it as a fumble for Bradford so i got -2 points, and the guy i am playing (with Caddy starting for him) beats me by 1.5 points :hot:

This thread should light up like a Christmas tree once the Hakeem Nicks score gets adjusted in leagues across this great nation, and outcomes start changing from "W" to "L".

What's the adjustment??? Cause I lost by a yard cause of nicks (.1 points in a PPR)

I can't stand nobody trading! 0-2 offer up decent trades, they always think im ripping them off. if you're LOSING and still want to hold on to 1 player that nets you 40 points and everyone else 7. You trade. wipes. > = O
