Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups (1 Viewer)

Celek for Hernandez owners
5 team league?
How did you know?Good post.
Agree, another ignorant "x team league" post that is completely useless. FBG had Celek at TE15 coming into the week. Given a 12 team league in which many teams do not roster a backup TE, I fail to see why he would think its a 5 team league.
The Audible had him as a TE1. Guess they're back to being awesome! Glad thats all cleared up now.

Fair enough!Regardless, there's many opinions on the value of any player. A comment that states "5 team league" only goes to show the stupidity and ignorance of the person who made the post.

Sorry man, wasn't trying to pile on this post, just using it as an example to negate the Audible bashing from the other posts.

How can Amendola still be on the wire in any league? He's a virtual lock for top 10-15 wr in ppr.
Before the season it was a debate whether he or Steve Smith were going to be the guy. A lot if people wanted no part in the STL passing game. I can see him going undrafted and still being on the WW after week one. The people in need of help after week one were more concerned with getting Ogletree, Stephen Hill, Alfred Moriss...

No more audible for me either. What a joke
Let's see you clowns put all your calls on the line every week. Then we'll see who the joke is.
The audible is definitely not a joke, it's chock full of great information and educated opinion but it is fair to critique calls made by people who get paid to do this.It does help illustrate however, despite what we all want to think, how much of this hobby is about luck and the unknowable.
I think its fair to critique the thought process they go about in order to come up with their calls. I think its silly to chime in after one bad call, offer no facts/opinions of your own, and bash them for it.

Yup. Agreed.

I have a question since I didn't see the game but how was Chris Ogbonnaya used for Cleveland? He didn't play in week 1 due to injury but I see that he had 6 receptions and 73 yards this week. For a deep ppr bye week filler that isn't too bad. Any insight on him? I had heard he was having a very good camp but then he got hurt. Do you see a similar role week to week?

Andre Brown could put up Jacobs-like numbers when healthy.

Just be warned that he is extremely injury prone dating back to his college career.

Not surprised he is already in the trainer's office after just one game.

Horrible player. No talent.

I remember it as a "coup" here in Raleigh when they got him from FSU (IIRC he decommitted or failed to qualify). I think he was thought to be the "next FSU steal" behind Rivers for Coach Amato, but he never really got on track. His compiled numbers look OK, but when you dig, you see he killed 2nd rate competition and for some reason, FSU...beyond that he was very pedestrian. I do think he could run well, just don't expect him to make something out of nothing. I may put a bid on him myself, and if I had to start him, my first criteria would be, "is the Giants O-line, better than the opponent's D-Line". If that answer is no, he remains on the bench.
