Marlin Jackson is ACTIVE.

Greg Ellis reportedly ACTIVE and to be used as a nickel pass rusher. Terence Newman to be ACTIVE as well.

Kalimba Edwards INACTIVE today.

Lance Briggs, Adam Archuleta, Charles Tillman and Nathan Vasher all INACTIVE today. Lost in the shuffle is that Tommie Harris is ACTIVE.

Rod Coleman INACTIVE today.

Derrick Burgess INACTIVE.

Most pressing issues:

Ray Lewis has an ankle injury and missed most of practice this week. He's listed as probable, however, and expected to play.

Dan Morgan is OUT. Adam Seward practiced Friday for the first time in two weeks, but there's no definite word yet on who plays MLB (and WLB if Beason is surprisingly moved).

Lance Briggs is doubtful to play.

Zach Thomas couldn't fully practice all week and is a gametime decision, although it's looking unlikely that he'll play at this point.

(SNF) Brian Dawkins is questionable after not practicing all week.

(MNF) Ahmad Brooks did not practice all week, but the late word is that the team is pushing him hard to play Monday night with Caleb Miller likely out.

That really blows that Brooks is a Monday game time decision. That pretty much makes my decision for me. I can't risk getting a zero from one of my LB's.

Zach Thomas is now officially inactive. I'll try to find out what's happening in Indy and Carolina before the early games start but there's been nothing in the local media for either this morning. Sounds like Jackson will play and Anderson MLB/Beason WLB but nothing official.
