Not sure why the bolded part is relevant - if it's because you're considering picking up a QB so he can't, then don't. Play your game, and make moves for your team. Making moves just so other people can't only benefits the other 10 teams in your league. If you need a QB, get one. If you need an RB, get one.I'm debating how to use my #2 waiver spot in 12 teamer this week. Ben owner with no other QB rostered. Also somewhat weak at RB (Ingram, Randle, Martin. Karlos and Tyrod are on wire. Mulling the benefit of grabbing Karlos and having someone else take Tyrod, then taking Vick or Carr. Or just take Tyrod and miss out on Karlos. Leaning the former.

will you respond to mine? Wasn't clear from your postRishard Matthews or Marvin Jones? Standard league.
Why is mark ingram on the wire in a 12 team league?? what the hell
Think he has Ingram and Randle. Reading must be tough in this thread lolAnd Randle?? wtf??
Teddy Ginn if he is still out there, it is 3 solid weeks in a row. He seems like a pretty safe WR3 as we approach bye weeks. Rishard Matthews has had another start worthy game as well. If people weren't buying in after 2 weeks, they better start
maybe he ate the #1 sub of the week?CBS Sportsline just told me that Jimmy Clausen is the #1 sub of the week!!!
LOL, so true. He has Ben and no other QBs and he thinks his RBs of Ingram and Randle are weak so he isn't sure if he wants to go Taylor and miss out on Karlos or take Karlos and miss out on Taylor with Carr/Vick. I would definitely go Taylor. Karlos is nice, but unless McCoy doesn't play at all you cannot bank on a 40 yard TD each week. You know you are going to use Taylor for 4-6+ weeks and maybe he'll use Karlos. I don't like Vick (I have Ben in one league so I need a plan as well) and I like Carr, but if he thinks Taylor is gone, I wouldn't be surprised to not see Carr sitting there for a second waiver. Why is mark ingram on the wire in a 12 team league?? what the hellThink he has Ingram and Randle. I grabbed Ginn last week based on his 16 targets and the fact that he could have gotten so much more if not for dropped TD opps. Even last week that 55 yarder should have been a longer TD. I didn't trust Charles Johnson as my WR4 anymore and I actually like having Ginn to replace Wright on his bye this week. Every week Ginn has an opportunity for a long TD, every week. I've watched the games and he's looked good. I think he'll keep getting better, but with Olsen and Cam playing well, I'll repeat again that there will be a likely long TD chance every week. Whether or not it hits, I don't know, but I like him this year.Teddy Ginn if he is still out there, it is 3 solid weeks in a row. He seems like a pretty safe WR3 as we approach bye weeks. Surprised to learn that after Olsen, Ginn is the target leader for Car by a good margin. 28 for Olsen, 22 for Ginn, next closest Funchess with 10.
Pick em. Both are bench adds.Rishard Matthews or Marvin Jones? Standard league.

Problem with that is Rawls is most likely a short-term play, while Marvin Jones is a starter.Worth taking a gamble on Rawls even though Marvin Jones is available? Could use another competent WR3 until Adams is healthy, but with Miller doing nothing and Ivory hurt..i could use a spark plug
depends on need imo.i am looking to add rawls only because these issues lynch is having seem to be the earthquakes before a volcano erupts.Problem with that is Rawls is most likely a short-term play, while Marvin Jones is a starter.Worth taking a gamble on Rawls even though Marvin Jones is available? I'll tell you what, Marshawn has a lot of miles and even though he's been durable, the tread could be getting a bit thin. A calf muscle injury turned hammy injury is not a coincidence. Rawls could turn into a little slice of heaven.Worth taking a gamble on Rawls even though Marvin Jones is available? I have Green, Steve Smith, Adams, Stevie Johnson and Parker..while my RBs are Bell, Ivory, Miller, Woodhead, and D'angelo. I wouldn't mind having a decent WR3 in Jones, but I feel like I could use more RB depth.depends on need imo.i am looking to add rawls only because these issues lynch is having seem to be the earthquakes before a volcano erupts.Problem with that is Rawls is most likely a short-term play, while Marvin Jones is a starter.Worth taking a gamble on Rawls even though Marvin Jones is available? going to get rawls now for as cheap as he will be the rest of the year.

I read an article that slammed blocking an opponent and playing only to benefit your team. I disagree, especially since you need a back up. Someone wants Dalton, Id take him off the market to hurt one of my opponents for sure.Dalton is actually available too. I havent been rostering a backup since I have Luck, but with all these QBs going down, might be wise to have a good backup.

Yeah Ive decided to prioritize him as my top target this week. Ben owner has no backup, one guy is currently rolling with Bradford/Foles, former Romo owner just has Carr. In this instance, he's clearly the only QB on the WW worth a long term roster spot as the other QBs left are Bortles, Kaep, Smith, etc. Gonna bid 10%+, if I dont get him, oh well. He would be a luxury.I read an article that slammed blocking an opponent and playing only to benefit your team. I disagree, especially since you need a back up. Thats a tough one. I would think Dalton might be as he has the weapons, but his coach is also know tho run heavy and will again at some point. Heck, its a toss up for me.Dalton or Mariota, who's the better add?I read an article that slammed blocking an opponent and playing only to benefit your team. In a league where I'm in that situation, I'm bidding 15% ($15/$100) with $88 leftHow much would you guys put in for Rawls if you don't own Lynch and aren't desperate at RB?
Considering Im in that situation as I have Charles, Lat Murray, Gore, Foster, Sproles, Im just throwing a few $ at him and dropping Taliaferro it comes to fruition. I doubt I get him that cheap. He's at the end of my WW this week, but that has more to do with me preferring to add Dalton, Marvin Jones, Blue (Foster handcuff) in that order than not liking Rawls. My WRs are kind of weak too so Im favoring Jones over a RB as well. How much would you guys put in for Rawls if you don't own Lynch and aren't desperate at RB?
Similar situation. WR is where I really need help and I am going to try to add Jones and Ginn, but Rawls has me intrigued.Considering Im in that situation as I have Charles, Lat Murray, Gore, Foster, Sproles, Im just throwing a few $ at him and dropping Taliaferro it comes to fruition. Here's the difference. When Mariota has his inevitable bad games, you'll shrug and say, "Eh, he's a rookie. It happens."Dalton or Mariota, who's the better add?I read an article that slammed blocking an opponent and playing only to benefit your team. I disagree, especially since you need a back up. What does Rawls have to do with Michael? In a post when someone brings up Rawls? Can we stop with the Christine Michael stuff? Dallas's running game looked just fine without him yesterday.Andrews was named the GL back this summer. He hurt his hammy but they were 100% in preseason so I don't think he lost that role.Antonio Andrews has the most feature back potential, but so far the Titans' RB position has been a revolving door. They are off next week then get Buffalo, so we may not know much for a few weeks. Predicting the Titans' RB rotation may prove difficult all season. Andrews is about as likely to get you a zero as he is of becoming the lead back in Tennessee.Which RB is the better PPR grab? Rawls, Dunbar, or Andrews?
Rawls' value hinges completely on the health of Marshawn.
Dunbar is the one I would most trust to remain a part of the offensive plan for his team. Through 3 weeks, he is on pace for over 100 receptions. I don't believe Dunbar will hold up to that type of continued use, and he may disappear some weeks, but he is an exciting talent who should be rostered in PPR.
Of the Titans and this goose-egg fear (which I understand totally) I would say he has the best chance at 'something' with the GL back role. Carries and yards, totally debatable.
Dunbar lines up wide and did so before injuries so I don't see how that's lower with injuries. They are not signing or trading for anyone signficant. KC's Fred Williams is the only PS guy who could contribute right away for Dallas but they won't listen to me and steal him from them...as if. I think Dunbar is getting curiously exposed as not a good runner though.
Fred Jackson is a bigger issue here than Rawls owners want to admit. They signed the ol guy that used to backup Marshawn in BUF for a reason. Marshawn rarely misses full games and I think Michael and Turbin should have taught people to stay away here, fools gold.
PPR gotta go with Dunbar here.
Don't like the bye with Andrews. If they played next week, I'd say grab n stash see how he does. Don't rush to have someone on bye
Christine Michael is still the best to get a chance and run away with it, but will he get that chance?
Ivory missed a ton of time before 2014. I do like the Powell pickup n wait thoughts

Ha, I am with you. My WR2 is Boldin. But do you really feel like Jones or Ginn are anything more than WR3 shots in the dark at best? I just can't chase that stuff with a high waiver priority. (That I will sit on all Season like an idiot.)Similar situation. Sounds like Ginn has been very close to a couple of big games. Again, twice the targets of the next closest WR for Carolina. With TB up this week, we might see way for folks talking about Ginn in next week's waiver thread. My waiver claims for tomorrow (16-team standard, start 2 RB, 2 WR and 1 WR/TE flex):
Ted Ginn
Reuben Randle
Brian Quick
My logic: I can't believe I'm putting any faith in Ginn, but he seems to have emerged as CAR's best WR and No. 2 target behind Olsen. I trust Randle even less and he has more competition for targets. Quick is a total lottery ticket
Depends on the depth of the WW. My 12 teamer I have Flacco only until this week to fill in for Brady then I will carry no back up.I read an article that slammed blocking an opponent and playing only to benefit your team. I'd go Ginn all day. He's their top WR, period. Quick hasn't even been active and if Cruz is back, Randle drops even more. If Ginn had held onto a couple passes and Newton throw 1 ball better, he wouldn't be on the ww right now. He's got opportunities and he is just one long pass each week away from having a huge game. I only have him in 1 of 3 leagues, because 2 of them are really short benches (1 has a limit of 20 transactions) and I have really good WRs (Julio, OBJx2, Matthews, Smith Sr, etc.) and unfortunately holes in the RB department.Sounds like Ginn has been very close to a couple of big games. i am doing just over 10%....gonna try to get him but am not going nuts. How much would you guys put in for Rawls if you don't own Lynch and aren't desperate at RB?
I figured it out! He's already gone (week 2) in one and the other I don't have room (OBJ, Hopkins, Smith Sr and Matthews in a start 2/flex). I have Foster in that one, so one bench slot stuck until I know he's healthy and I can drop Jennings.I'd go Ginn all day. He's their top WR, period. I need to go check those 2 teams again. I need to remind myself why he can't fit in there!
